Who wants to bet that after tonight you'll still be able to pick it up at your local Best Buy or Wal-Mart store?

Mr. Incredible, of course you will still be able to find copies at stores but they will not be making any new copies. Once the dvd's on the shelves disappear it will be alot harder to find.

Wal*Mart is sending them back. My dad works in electronics there and they actually shipped them back on Tuesday. I got Cinderella 3 then. I'd been meaning to do so all last year but was hoping the price would come down. I haven't got Cinderella 2 yet. Is it any good?
I thought Cinderella 3 was an interesting concept but it lacked suspense. It was more like "and this happened, and this, then ithis" There was no tease. I also thought it strange the guards never got changed back. Is the stage version better?
I have all the other titles going into the Vault. I normally pass on the sequels but Cinderella 3 got some good reviews so I figured it was worth a buy.
I was recently at a grocery Store and they have a ton of retired titled for 12.50 brand new. I'm going to go back and grab some. Among them are Bambi 2 and Kronk's New Groove. It's great to find places like that.

I wanted to get the Aladdin sequels but didn't want to pay the $26 for the two pack.
Anyway, yeah most of those titles you will still be able to find for at least a month or so. After that, not so much.
This time of year has never really bothered me too much since I normally already have all the titles that are being Vaulted.

I was a bit annoyed at my local BestBuy.
Last week the two-pack was $20.99, and I was thinking about buying it, but figured I'd get it later.
Today, I walk in, and see that they placed new $26.99 stickers on them. Way to milk the vaulting, BestBuy!
Now I have to go to Target and get it for $24.99 instead.

Most would say no, but I found it charming. Lower your expectations, and you'll smile.

The stage version follows a different plot altogether, so they really shouldn't be compared, but the songs are FAR superior-- as is the depth it comes into with my personal favorite characters!

I actually still have not seen all of Bambi II! As for Kronk's New Groove, it was a much better sequel than the television series, The Emperor's New School. Why did they create conflicting sequels?

You shouldn't have to lower expectations to enjoy a film though. Cinderella 3 was a step in the right direction for the sequel division. It was an original idea, as well animated as the cheapquels should be, and it was somewhat entertaining. It just needed suspense. I really enjoy Aladdin & the King of Thieves. I know it's not the best animated cheapquel but the story is fairly solid. I was quite impressed with that. The only other cheapquel in this league I've seen is the Enchanted Christmas. All the others are pretty much crap. So many times they have a seed of an idea that's good but the rest doesn't work. Return to Neverland is like that. It was great...until they got to Neverland then the film fell flat on its face.
Are you saying the stage version has better songs or the DVD? Is there anywhere to get the stage songs on CD or as MP3s? I was under the impression that Cinderella 3 was lifted from this stage show.
I haven't seen Kronk either but New School is Meh. It came too late and it's not as good as some of the other animated feature spin offs.

I want to know what
Prudence meant too, but i think shemeant the stageshow had superior songs and depth because it had more songs in general.
In an interview with Frank Nissen, Cinderella 3's director, he said they never even knew about the stage show until later. I think they were developed around the same time, actually. About the only things they have in common are going back in time by the stepmother's spell, breaking the other slipper, and Cinderella trying to get to the prince in her rags, and maybe also the prince leaving the palace to search for the right girl on his own...hmmm, well, there's only so much you can do with making a sequel of a classic. But there lots of differences like the evil Fairy Godfather and what the stepmother does to Cinderella.
