I agree. But, it somewhat makes business sense. I mean, it' just a music video, but many people absolutely love this song- the song isn't available for download at Walmart.com unless you download the whole album. Some people (either die-hard Carrie Underwood fans or people who love their music videos on DVDs) will possibly buy the Blu-ray disc of "Enchanted" just to have the music video. Some of these people won't even own Blu-ray players yet, so some of them will also buy the standard-definition DVD of "Enchanted".
I think that it stinks that the music video won't be on the standard-definition DVD, but I'm not going to buy the Blu-ray version just because a music video I like is on there. I'll just have to watch the video on YouTube!

Exactly. If it's on YouTube, then why does it matter if it is not on the DVD set but on the Blu-ray Disc set? If it's viewable online then it shouldn't matter whether or not it is on the DVD because you can go and watch it there.
Unless you don't have the internet, Matt, which I'm assuming you do because you posted, then you can find it practically anywhere online. YouTube, Google Video, and probably LimeWire as well (though that's kinda illegal, but hey, people do it anyway). It's not essential for the video to be on the DVD, it's just Disney doing business to push consumers to the Blu-ray format. Besides, you wouldn't buy the DVD for the music video, you would buy it for the film itself. The video is just a perk.

That does stink, but I'm actually okay with it. When the video first aired on the Disney Channel, I liked it so much that I immediately downloaded it off Ares. Now I have it on my Zune, so I can watch it anytime!
Maybe once the film is released, iTunes will have the video available too...that's always a possiblity.

The Carrie Underwood video IS on the Enchanted soundtrack if you insert the disc into your computer.

I know it's on the soundtrack but I am a music video collector and I love the music videos on the DVDs in high quilty viewing.
I'm still trying to find a way to rip it off the CD lol.
So this is a big deal to me.

LMFAO that was so funny. lol And so true.
I'm pretty upset about this release. First no deleted song, then ugly cover art, then no music video, then this BS about having to buy a certain version of it to get the special features. UGH. It is true, as long as it's on YouTube, you might as well take advantage of that, than spend more on a version that you don't own a player to, but it just makes more sense (to me, anyway) to include
Ever Ever After in the release. The song screams "
ENCHANTED!", not "BUY ME ON BLURAY!"

The DVD has the "Ever Ever After" Music Video as an Easter Egg! UltimateDisney said in the review! But it didn't say how to find it.

It's really easy to find. In fact, when I thought I had selected one of the features, it played instead. It's something that's just about impossible not to stumble on.
