Who else thinks that with this writer's strike going on, now would be the perfect time to bring "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" back on the air? Three out of four are just doing game shows right now so they would have the time to do Whose Line as well.

Dunno if it would happen, but I certainly would welcome it. It is (was?) one of my favorite shows.
If it did come back, I'd love to see Carol Channing guest star so she and Ryan could have a conversation while he does his Carol Channing impression.

I would love to see this happen as well. Back when Drew Carey was announced as the new host of The Price Is Right, TIME Magazine had a Q&A with him and he had this to say about Whose Line:
Do you miss Whose Line Is It Anyway? —Christian Naquin, BATON ROUGE, LA.
Drew Carey: Terribly. I would have loved to do that show for the rest of my life. It was fun, great money and easy—everything you want in a job. It should have been on forever, and I don't know why it got canceled. And if different people were making the decisions, it could still be on the air. There is always a chance [it could come back], but it would be pretty expensive to get the rights.

CBS has enough money to make a deal with Warner Bros. so they can order new episodes for their goldenboy Drew. I'm just not sure how much contol ABC still has.
By the way I think Drew is doing a great job as host of The Price Is Right and The Power of 10.

I don't think Drew Carey would be the host again.
he have too many things on his plate, mostly THE PRICE IS RIGHT!
Maybe, Wayne Brady could be the host.

That show is just as scripted as anything else on TV, so it would be a bit pointless to announce a "return" during the strike.
