I don't undestand why Disney is wasting their time with these type of releases when they should be putting out their "A" list titles and I can't see The Rookie being A list.

They are putting out A list titles, just slowly. With Blu-ray sales still very small compared to DVD no studio will release all of their A list titles with such a small percentage of potential buyers.
Anyway if I have my stand alone or PS3 by then I'll probably pick this up. Pretty enjoyable film.

I just got an email from Amazon.com saying that I'd be interested in the 2-movie collection of "Miracle" and "The Rookie":
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz
If Amazon is being truthful, though, the films are presented in 1.33:1 and there are 2 discs. So, I guess they're bundling up the single fullscreen discs of each movie and just repackaging them here. I could be wrong, but I'm assuming that's what's going on.
I really like Disney sports dramas, and haven't seen either of these yet, and I am interested in buying them sometime, but I'm thinking that it'd be cheaper to buy used widescreen DVDs of each film...?
I just wanted to let you all know that the 2-disc set is coming out- the release date says today's date, so maybe it's already out...

I noticed this on the DMR Site about a week ago... According to the package art pictured on the DMR Site.... it looks like how they bundled together Homeward Bound 1 and 2
There is also a 2 pack of the same kind of Mighty Ducks 1 & 2
They qualify for the DMR Program and worth 75 points
