I definetly think Song of the South should be put onto DVD. The only clip that I had seen from it until recently was on the Zip a Dee Doo Dah sing along VHS. On one of the disneyland episodes from the treasures DVD there is a scene from it with the song laughing place.

I agree that Song of the South should come to DVD. It's a sweet little film that really doesn't do any harm. Disney should release it as a 2-disc Vault Disney-ish release with a special forward by Leonard Maltin preparing viewers for what they're about to see as well as commentary by him discussing the controversial history of it.

Based on what I've heard, Three Lives of Thomasina is unofficially announced for next year along with Darby O' Gill, Mary Poppins, and possibly Freaky Friday. I really hope Freaky Friday comes out as Disney (for a short while) had it listed in their movies section along the phrase "hours of entertaining features", which makes me really hope this film goes 2-Disc.

Not too sure about Freaky Friday being 2-disc. I mean, The Santa Clause SE trailer on various winter 2002 releases promised hours of all new special features and...well....

Obviously Song of the South but I'd also like to see a Disney update on the Something Wicked This Way Comes DVD with the uncropped theatrical trailer, commentary from the laserdisc (A LOT of great stuff there), the making-of TV special, and the famous special effects deleted scenes.

How come Darby O' Gill has never been released even on VHS. From what my father tells me it was very popular

My number one suggestion has to be SONG OF THE SOUTH. I believe that it could even be a tin-box TREASURE, that could include explanations about it, documentaries and any short film or appearance of its characters in other disney films or shows.

Yes! I totally forgot about that one! I loved the movie when it aired on ABC and if I had known it would've taken this long to hit DVD (if it ever does), I would've taped it.

These have been mentioned before but movies I would personally love to see on DVD would be:

Song of the South - obvious choice, but I think with the right amount of respect and care taken, any "trouble" could be avoided.

Darby O'Gill and the Little People - it was a labour of love for Walt, and I think it deserves a decent DVD treatment (as a Vault or 2-disc SE or the like)

Walt: The Man Behind the Myth - needs ot be given a wider release. Frank & Ollie seemed to do well as a wider release, so why not Walt?

Episodic TV - House of Mouse, Rescue Rangers, Chip N Dale, Gummi Bears, Goof Troop etc. I really think it is about time these came out as BOX SETS.

and most importantly...

The Triangle of Health as part of an Education set. The Disney equivalent of 'Fuzzy Bunny's Guide to You-Know-What'.

Well, I think everything should be released on DVD. Now I know thats not going to happen, and if it were, it would take a long time. I am not really literate when it comes to older live action Disney films. However, I really would like Song of the South, and the other Parent Traps released...

 The Happiest Millionaire! I want to see Disney release the Happiest Millionaire on the Vault Disney DVD Series. A few years ago, it played on Vault Disney and they advertised it a lot and character/actor interviews and stuff! It would make a great DVD! Why isn't it out yet?

These are the three that NEED to be on DVD

Mr. Boogedy
Child Of Glass
Bride of Boogedy

and they may possibly come as I've said before when I phoned Disney they said it's a strong possibility. So I'm keepiong my finghers crossed this year. I have hope and also Family Channel in Canada is probably goingf to show them on Halloween so if the unfortunate happens and no DVD comes at least I can tape them.
