I made this thread so we can share some of our resolutions for the 2008, considering that I'm from another country and usually some traditions may be diferent from one place to another I hope that the ones who haven't done this before feel atracted to their first experience (come on, it won't hurt  ) and the more experienced could tell us their goals for next year.

My resolutions will be:
1.-Study more(specially math)
2.-Be a better boyfriend
3.-lose some weight(at least 25 pounds...I'm 108 kgs)
4.-stop drinking much coffee(just one cup each day)
5.-have a cellphone bill from less than 250 dlls...(lots of friends)

what about yours?

here are mine:

1. Find a direction in life (meaning what am I going to do in the future)
2. Work towards that direction
3. Be more open with self (change clothes so they reflect me, don't be so worried about what others think, be more open with sexuality)
4. Change look of room (new paint job etc)
5. Try as many new things as I can
6. Enjoy the year of 2008 (that's the most important)

Usually I say that being more organized and neater is my resolution, but I've given up on that. For 2008, my resoultion is to stay in contact better with my friends. I'm not much of a phone person, and Myspace helps to stay in touch, but I need to pick up the phone and say, "Hi, how are you?" more often.

The same thing I vow every year. I have yet to keep it, so let's hope this year will be different.

My New Year's resolution is to never let a certain person down, as she deserves so much more. By never letting her down, I mean there will be no more overreacting on my part, no arguing with her, no insisting things go my way, no hurting her other friends, no snubbing off her other best friend, and so forth and so on.

Ummm...for the best animated motion picture, let's say?
After all, "... the dream that you wish will come true". Yeah, I know I'm Disney's biggest victim! But thanks for bringing me down to earth, anyway.

Eat / drink no more pasta, caffeine, chocolate, milk, or cheese. And eat less meat.

and, write something. And, maybe, buy a book on Screenplay writing.

I think my resolutions will be to exercise more and to go to bed earlier since I'm always tired in the morning! ;)

Mine is the same every year for the last 5 now

- Gain Weight/Eat Better (more)
- Overhaul my room(s) (they're so full of junk that everything needs to get ripped out and less put back in)

- Get a better sleeping habit (I put vampires to shame :P)
- Have more fun, this year was full of too many downhills, so it's time to go back uphill for once :)

My resoloutions are :

To thank God for blessing me with life even when I forget just how priceless it is.
Give love as much as possible especially to people that I used to call my enemies.
Accept negative events and situations and focus more on the positive things that I should be grateful for.
Beat Depression.
Be more immune and less sensitive to negative comments people tell me.
Give attention to other people's advice but ultimatly listen to my heart in every decision I make.
