Saban's Adventures of the Little Mermaid

After Disney's The Little Mermaid was out,Saban wanted to cash over the film's sucsses and make their version of The Little Mermaid.
There was a mermaid named Marina (rip-off the anime version?) she was blonde and... she was nothing like Ariel (in my opinion-she was dumb (she and the prince got kidnappt every episode) and ugly),she had a potion that make her a human and... the Sea Witch was trying to ruin her life,without a reason,i guess she was bored.
Anyway remember this series?.

I remember the series. They were deffinetly riding the fish tails of Disney. And I saw elements of the anime version too. The prince took a potion so she could breath underwater or something. The Sea Witch had the same color skin and hair color as Ursula too.

Her fin was ugly,it's looks like a dress and the bottom's shape is allways changing.
The Witch was dumb,i have no idea why she was a villain,anyway.
Yeah,it's is cheap.

She kind of reminds me of the Chicken of the Sea mermaid...the older version...not the new one.
Anyways...I remember watching it...but now that I look at again..I don't know why lol.
