The Hollywood Party

Do you think Disney can ever obtain the rights to the Walt Disney animated short "Hot Choc-late Soldiers" from MGM Pictures' "The Hollywood Party". The short was included in the film and was introduce by Mickey and Walt themselves. Im saying this so that maybe if a possible Disney Rarities Vol. 2 comes out, they can this VERY RARE short on there.

It was not introduced by Disney in the film - it began with a scene between Mickey and Jimmy Durante

"Hollywood Party" is an excellent movie, and you should record it from TCM, who will be showing it again during this holiday season I am sure. Then you will have it for your collection. Don't expect it to come to DVD anytime soon. The short was a collaboration between Disney studios and MGM for use in that movie only, so I don't see Disney paying outragious sums of money to get back the rights to one short.
