I had a very very bad day at work. I just felt like no matter how hard I tried, it wasn't enough. I was in tears today because of it all. On top of it, I am broke till Friday, but will only be broke again because of bills. I keep hoping the next week I'll have enough to Christmas shop (and I already did get my Secret Santa's gifts and will be sending them after Thanksgiving, have no fear!) And then I came home and to my surprise had a package from Amazon.com. The last thing I expected was my secret Santa had come.

I just want to say, Hennie, thank you. Thank you, thank you. It made my very horrible day disappear. I felt like a kid again, lol. And you didn't have to get so much but I truly appreciate it. Opening each one just made me feel better and better. I was so glad to receive books, I wanted the books more than the DVDs or anything else. It made my whole day worth it. Thank you again!

BTW, I got Fabulous Creatures and Magical Beings, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer Season 8 graphic novel, and The Sorcerer's Companion. All three books I have been really really wanting to get but never seem to have the money for it, lol.

As Giles once said, "I'm sure my books and I are in for a fascinating afternoon."

But I believe when you receive your gift you make a new thread for everyone to post when they receive their gift.

There's people receiving gifts already? I'm just hoping the gift I ordered is here by the end of next week! I have to send it to my secret recipient soon!

Bills! Credit card bills, college tuition bills, and yet another huge phone bill with my numerous calls to Prague! I have *got* to stop calling Prague and just move over there, things would be much easier! Woohoo for bills! Nothing but bills for the Escapay household...well, bills and pie.

My Secret Santa package shipped today and should be arriving to my Cindy Lou Who by the 29th or so. If you receive an Amazon package on that day or on one of the couple of days preceeding it, it's more than likely from me. Hope Cindy enjoys it.

I just wanted to say that I won't be buying or shipping out a present to my Secret Santa until the middle or end of next week...because I need money. So, my Secret Santa should be getting their present the first or second week in December...!

Same here... I won't be mailing out until the 1st week of December.. due to lack of money....and thats when I will buy my gift to send to my assigned secret santa and mailing it the day I buy it...

So I will post as soon as I mail it which will be the 1st week of December..

i sent mine today as well!

I will not send mine out until another week. in fact I have not bought my gift yet. I would not want this to become a Secret Pilgrim instead of a Secret Santa.

I should be sending my gift out soon. Hopefully, it will arrive to it's destination in time.

I have bought part of my gift for my secret santa.

When I get my cash next week, I will do some Secret Santa shopping and plan to ship it exactly on Dec. 4th.

I already got a gift for my secret santa will be shipping it out this week.

I ordered my gift and now I just need to wait for it to arrive so I can wrap it, attach a card and package it up. I just hope it gets there in time!

I bought my Secret Santa's gift today! It will be shipped on Monday.

I've just got to get a card for my Secret Cindy Lou-Who and then I'll be sending it off next week.
