Made for TV Boogeyman movie?

This is from years ago when I was younger and Disney had the Friday night movie (or Sunday movie for some listings), I'm looking for the name of a TV movie they aired in 2 parts I believe BUT I can't for the life of me remember the name since it was a really long time ago.
All I remember is that it involved glowing green footprints that went up a wall and onto the ceiling, had a Boogeyman type character who had come back from the dead. This movie scared the crap out of me when I watched, think I was 6...movie looked to have been made made late 70s, early 80s (live action with some special effects). Now that I have some of my own I'd like to get it for them...
