Well Disney is very carefull in those things. They also deleted smoking scenes from some Goofy shorts and other Walt Disney shorts. I guess this one was deleted because the kids could think that they have to put a stamp on someone's behind if you think their behind is OK

No uhm, I guess it was something about Santa being too rough on the dolls or something, or it was something seksistic? (spelling ?) They must have had a reason!

Does Disney have a reason for everything they delete?
Maybee Roy Disney liked that scene, and that was the reason.

According to the excellent
Disney Shorts website...
Cut Scenes
A scene where dolls are frightened by a spider, their hair sticks up on end and gets curled has been cut. A black seteroptype doll saying "Mammy" has been edited out as has a black doll riding a donkey cart.

NOw this is going a bit too far. What next? No scenes were kids sit on Santa's Lap for fear that it might be taken as something sexual?

if Micheal Jackson was that Santa Claus, then Disney has a very good excuse.
