A few questions about the movie club

Hi. I'm considering joining the US movie club because of the strong Canadian dollar and have a US shipping address.. I was wondering though how the feature selection works when it comes to declining them, as I go check my mail ever 2-3 weeks and I might miss the mailer if it comes in between.
Does the site offer a way to decline the selection? Or is it either mail or phone?
Does the selection have a code I need enter? Or if I call let's say the same time every month with a membership number, it'll know which selection I'm declining..
Lastly, about these 3D cards that I've been reading about, are they only offered with featured selection and generally only for newer release? How large as these cards? Can they be fit inside the DVD case?
Thanks

You can decline the selection of the month by sending back the card in the mail, by phone, and by Internet.
Each monthly selection comes with a deal of the month (the card in the mail or the website will have a section with the selection of the month and another with the monthly deal code), but you don't need to buy the selection of the month in order to use the deal code. But, you don't need a special code to decline or accept the selection of the month.
I don't collect the 3D cards, but you get one in your initial order, and they are available with the selections of the month.

Thanks for the reply.. How long does it normally take to process your online enrollment? When is the credit card charged? When it ships?
Some times I was thinking about getting in my enrollment were
Cinderella III
Fox and Hound 1 and 2
Robin Hood
Peter Pan
Alice in Wonderland
What are my chance of getting slipcover except Alice in Wonderland, which I assume are long gone..
Also, is it a random 3D card they give you? Or some enrollment bonus all members get?
Thanks

The 3D cards come only with your order of the monthly featured title exclusively.

In my initial order, I got a Mickey Mouse DMC 3D card.
Different people get their initial orders at different times. Sometimes, if you make an order after you order (but before you receive) your initial package, your second order might come before your initial order.
You can expect to receive your welcome package anytime from 3-6 weeks, I think. I mean, it could take less time, too.
I don't see why you wouldn't get a slipcover for everything but "Alice in Wonderland" or "Peter Pan"- you could get a PP one, but I wouldn't count on it.
I don't think I've ever ordered anything new enough from the DMC to get a slipcover (but I don't collect slipcovers, so it doesn't bother me).

Regarding these 3D cards, how large are they? Do they fit nicely inside the DVD? Or are they more in line of a sports card?
Does the cards re-appear multiple times in features selections? Or your only chance to get them is when they appear?
Thanks

The cards are the size of DVD cover pictures- they're made to just insert into the DVD case, so you see the card instead of the cover the DVD came with.
As for your second question, I'm not sure if they're available after the movie isn't the selection of the month anymore. I don't know of any other way one would order a 3D card, though, since they don't have their own section on the website or their own selection number.

Hi. I called to talk to a CSR and get some of my questions answered over the phone. I'll probably join after I make sure I'm done all my Christmas shopping..
According to rep, the cards don't really repeat.. This month is Jungle Book and next month is Ratatouille..
I'll post in the Trade forum, but I would be interested in purchasing any 3D cards from anyone who doesn't care for them..
