Hi. I new, so sorry if this is a newbie question.. I tried searching the boards, but I wasn't sure how to search Titles only and got too many search results to go through..

I decided to use my RZ coupon and pick up Pocahontas II at Bestbuy for $14.99. I checked round and found some pictures of Pocahontas II that had gold foil on the cover where it mention Gold Collection.. Mine was printed in yellow on the cover.. Did Disney stop producing these covers with the gold foil after a certain amount of time?
Thanks

I got mine Christmas 2005 and I'm pretty sure mine came with golden leaf. I'll have to check that out.

Around 2005 disney stop doing the gold foil on certain titles, they also took off the "Your Satisfaction Is Guaranteed" and replaced the disney dvd logo with just a dvd logo. With Pocahontas II, the chage took place early this year.

I know for a fact mine has the "Your Satisfaction Garaenteed (how the heck do you spell that?)". I bought mine at Barnes and Noble.

It is Guaranteed.

I got my copy from the Disney Movie Club as a begining member offer about a year ago so it still looks like the original covers. I wish disney hadn't started changing the covers. The gold gave the gold collection a special look. It's pretty much the only thing I enjoy on any of the covers, haha.

Hi. Thanks for the replies. I don't know if I'll return it to Bestbuy, but might look for an used copy of eBay or something.. I liked the way the gold foil looked across the top..

I guess I might need a Disney DVD 101 leason.. Was the Gold Collection the first wave of DVDs they started marketing, then comes Platium?

Did all the ealier Gold Collection DVD have this gold foil across the front?
Thanks

so that would explain why my BatB: belle's magical world dvd logo has the shiny foil that most stores don't have anymore.
