Welcome to 2007 Summer Movie Survivor. This has been a UD tradition for many years now. The object of the game is to vote off the films we haven't seen or liked the least until only one film stands as the winner. Here are the basic rules -

The only films featured are those released in wide release between the beginning of May and the end of August.

Voting will last for two days, or until I close the thread. If you would like to take over hosting, PM or email me and we can talk about it.

We will be voting off one movie with one movie leaving each round. Also remember to please keep your votes similar to other users' as much as possible. The more we can avoid ties, the better.

All votes must be in bold text. From now on, any votes not in bold will go uncounted unless there is a tie.

We are voting off the films we haven't seen or liked the least.

These films have been voted off:
ROUND ONE - Hostel Part II, I Know Who Killed Me, Bratz, Daddy Day Camp, Balls of Fury
ROUND TWO - Delta Farce, Georgia Rule, Surf's Up, Captivity, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry
ROUND THREE - The Ex, Bug, Nancy Drew, Evan Almighty, Underdog
ROUND FOUR - Shrek the Third, Mr Brooks, Evening, Skinwalkers, September Dawn
ROUND FIVE - 28 Weeks Later, Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer, Transformers, Rush Hour 3, Mr. Beans Holiday

Whenever you complain, JM, I must bring that up!

The only movies on that list that I've actually seen are POTC &"Ratatouille"...I'm basing my votes on word-of-mouth, and in the reviews I've read, people have said that the 2nd Bourne movie was better.

:? Out of curiosity, how does a score of 93% (97% Cream of the Crop) on Rotten Tomatoes designate anything even near mediocrity?

*By the way, the second--The Bourne Supremacy--received an 82% grade.

If you've only seen two of the movies on the list, why are you voting? It's pointless.

Disturbingly, The Bourne Ultimatim is gone.

Round Fifteen is here.

Thanks, Dan! I was just going to say the same thing! :pink:

I don't want to start a fight, and I like JM, but isn't it pointless to vote off movies we haven't seen? We should be voting for movies we have seen...
