Movies That Are Just Fun!

Some peple like movies tha make them cry. Somepoeple like movies that make them scream. So even like movies that make them think for hours on end after seeing the film.

But this thread is about movies that are just so fun you can truly forget your problems and have a really good time. What are your top ten picks for "just plain fun!" films?

(mine are in no order)

1. The Great Mouse Detective (1986): fast pacing, funny and lovable characters. What more do you want?

2. Hocus Pocus (1993)

3. The Princess Bride (1987): in no way "Inconcievable!" to not enjoying yourself watching this film.

4. Blazing Saddles (1974): My favourite Mel Brooks film.

5. The Emporer's New Groove (2000): Kronk and Izma are the best.

6. Hairspray (2007): for the most part is.

7. Spaceballs (1986): another good Mel Brooks film.

8. Labyrinth (1986): Greap puppetry and music.

9. The Love Bug (1969): My favourite one of the old Disney comedies.

10. Tie: The Muppet Movie (1979) and The Great Muppet caper (1981): I love them both and could never choose between them.

I always thought that Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle was a really fun movie. Mindless plot, silly over-the-top action scenes and cheesy dialogue and jokes. It should have been the worst movie ever, but for some reason I loved it!!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Always makes me smile. To me its the ultimate feel-good movie.

Shock Treatment
Not quite as feel-good, but "legs like mine were really made for dancin'"

The Country Bears
It is fun. So there.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Ni! Ni! Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

Duck Soup
Marx Brothers genius.

Best in Show
"Get Busy-Bee! Get Busy-Bee!" Although the highlight is undoubtedly the show commentators.

On the Buses and Mutiny on the Buses (can you see what they did there?)
I love/hate these films. But deep down I love 'em.

Guilty pleasure
Freddy Got Fingered
Yes, I do like this. It's... different... but it sticks to its "vision".

Non Disney films I most love

I just list my favourite non-Disney films, I have most fun:

Yellow submarine
The blue meanieas show the same behaviour as the music industry today to his customers.

The Wizard of Oz
I fear the wicked witch from the West since my childhood.

Cleopatra
I like the style of Caesar (Rex Harrison).

Star Wars
The 2nd and 3rd part of this story shows all the things I had in my imagination on seeing the 4th part in the year 1977.

The sound of music
This is one of the best musical.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
This is a true Disney film. It has everything. But it isn’t Disney.

Meet me in St. Louis
This film is a very delight with Judy Garland

The Band Wagon
This is a very great show.

Easter Parade
This film lives on the magic of talent from great artists.

The Flintstones
I like to see the truth about the modern live in the Stone Age. They have had all modern inventions we love, except the computers!

The Jetsons
I am waiting for the pipes of transportation, conveyor bands and robots until today!

Popeye the Sailor
He takes a tin of spinach and punch into our beloved enemies. He is the famous predecessor of Asterix and Superman.

Sabrina, the teenage witch
This show is really funny. If I have her magic, I would get the same fun (and trouble too...).

@Ariel'sprince

I found no error.

St. is an abbreviation for Sankt.

I hope this helps.
