With the opening of the attraction set for early 2008, perhaps the most famous - and some would argue the most insidious - theme song in Disney's history is laid down with a whole new language cast and set to come at you in surround sound. If you aren't humming it by now, you're one of the lucky ones.

"The all-new soundtracks are unique to Hong Kong Disneyland and it will be our first time using stereo audio effects inside the attraction". With four new languages laid down - Cantonese, Putonghua, Korean and Tagalog (Philippines) - this will mean that you'll hear 10 versions of the song throughout the ride.

Here's some more of those photos from the recording session. Children of the world gathered together to preach a universal message of peace and harmony that coincides with the message of the forthcoming attraction, "it's a small world". Or something like that.

Is it just me or don't those mouse-ears hats resemble those from the '70s?
