Which DVDs Are You Going to Buy on 10/9/07?

This is another full week of DVD releases, though personally speaking, not as exciting as the previous week.

I don't think I'll be buying anything right away, but eventually I'll pick up: "Murder, She Wrote": The Complete Seventh Season (still gotta get through S3-6), "Everybody Hates Chris": The Second Season (still gotta watch and buy S1), and "Whose Line Is It Anyway: Season 1, Volume 2 (still gotta watch S1,V1).

Of the titles being released this week, I am reviewing Hannah Montana: Life' What You Make It and Twilight Zone: The Movie.

I would also like to rent Evan Almighty at some point and get better acquainted with "Family Ties" and "Alfred Hitchcock Presents".

If Disney would release "Johnny Tsunami", I'd buy both that and "Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board". But, it'd feel weird buying the sequel and not having the original. Just like how I'm not buying "Jumping Ship" yet, since they haven't released "Horse Sense" yet.

Would like to eventually get Reign Over Me and Evan Almighty, but I'm not sure when. My DVD purchases have been very infrequent over the past couple months, and am having to postpone many wanted DVD's. Out of the three I planned to get this week, I'll only be able to get one, Jericho. :|

Cheers,

Besides last week, I've been kind of disappointed with whats been out lately...I want to start putting money aside so I can get the treasures in December without feeling guilty about buying something for myself so close to X-Mas.

At some point, I'll be getting "Poltergeist", since I don't already own it. Maybe before Halloween if I feel good, otherwise I'll likely hold of 'til the holiday season.

Disney Radio blocked me from Hannah Montana!

I voted for Hannah Montana.

Do you remember of Britney Spears appearing in the Mickey Mouse Club?

I think that Hannah Montana will be the next talent of pop culture.

Unfortunately Radio Disney doesn’t want me as customer.

Radio Disney, I give you a negative point of blocking the Disney carousel of progress!

Stop the discrimination of international customers immediately!

I would like to get Poltergeist eventually just because I don't have it on DVD.

If you're not getting that this next week, I pity you.

Laz, if you're expecting loads of extras for that movie, you'd best hold off on that purchase. The back cover lists only a theatrical trailer as the sole extra, unless you count the "new digital transfer and soundtrack remastered in Dolby Digital 5.1" as extras.

The only title for 10/9/2007 I'll be purchasing is 28 Weeks Later.

None of the above.

I'm already torn between getting Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, Folklore, or Stephen Colbert's book "I Am America" since all three come out next week.
