Well, I was thinking of watching this just because I feel the need to watch it. However, I haven't watched DH since the first season. Do you think that there would be any point to watching it since I skipped two seasons, or would it be a new storyline different from past seasons, but still has othe little "plots" from the other seasons? Thanks.

TSoD-Just make sure you watch the last episode of season three or you probably won't get season four! I'm almost positive it's on Youtube somewhere...

back on topic-I can't wait until tonight!! WOOT! :P :D

There will be a lot of referencing to past events obviously, but the mystery will be new and the rest has just become nothing more than a glorified soap-opera, so jumping at any time is definitely not an issue. :) It seems as if they've recently decided to throw character developement and such out the window so apart from a slightly more easy-going Bree it's the same old story only with inferior writing.

You are so wrong. It hasn't become a "glorified soap-opera", nor have they thrown character development out of the window. Finally, "it not the same old story only with inferior writing".

Season 3 was terrific, and I fully expect Season 4 to be just a great. Yes, it does have soapy elements to it, but, it's far from being glorified.

TheSequelofDisney, pay no attention to Disney-Fan. Watch the show for yourself, and decide. I believe you'll be able to pick up on what has happened.

Nicolette Sheridan is scheduled to appear on Letterman this week, so that might be a good sign that she'll be around this season.

TSoD, I think it would be smart to at least watch the last episode of Season 3 before tonight's premiere. That way you'll still get the gist of what's going on. Either way, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It's, without a doubt, the best show on television at the moment.

I guess we'll find out, tonight. I love Edie, but, I believe she's a gonner. I mean, the description of the episode, tonight, even mentions that news about Edie spreads around Fairview, creator Marc Cherry said that Edie will be in the first episode, in some capacity (which will be surprise), and she's not shown in the 4th Season previews, other than the promo.

I hope I'm wrong. I really do. We'll find out in about 2 hours!

Hey, now. Don't get too big a head!

By the way, the new neighbor lady is a total witch!

I'm so happy that our girls, all of them, are back!

I'm really enjoying this episode! Susan is cracking me up. Lynette throwing up in that purse, thinking it was her mothers, is freaking hilarious! It's sad that she's going through cancer, but, she does it with style!

Wow! Wonderful, terrific, funny, and just awesome!

This new mystery is dark. I think it's going to be great.

Also, it's great to see that some of the stuff from Season 1, with Carlos having money in an offshore account, is back. I think it's great, because he's kept this from everyone, including Gabby! Edie is now holding it over his head, and if she should ever tell, all hell will break loose!

The most touching moment was when Lynette removed her wig, and the girls saw her. She owned that moment, and went on to make the pact with the rest of them. Too bad that none of them plan to keep their end of the bargain.

Anyway, I'm now watching the Season 2 premiere of Brothers and Sisters. So, I've got to get to that.

I'm just so excited that Desperate Housewives is back, and just as great as ever!

Woah there, buddy. I was just stating my opinion. Up untill the winter hiatus for season 3, I would've been right there with you defending the show but, for me, everything after it seemed like an incoherent mess (partially to blame because of the unexpected pregnancy of Marcia). After the blandness of season 2, and the second half of 3, I've just lost faith in the show. I'll be watching it for Nathan Fillion but if he can't hold my attention I'm calling it a day. Sorry to disappoint, but that's how I see it.

It is so good to have the 'Housewives' back for Season Four. Tonight episode "Now You Know" was incredibly great from opening scenes til the end. It just fortifies what I have been saying all along, this is the best written, funniest show on television. I love every minute of it, and to think I didn't start watching it until I was watching Season One DVD's with my wife, and they became by most favorite guilty pleasure.

Bring on the Housewives. This is going to be the best turnaround season of any show ever.

That was fantastic, to say the least! I'm glad to see that Edie is still alive. She, along with Bree, is my favorite of the housewives. I was predicting that she would find out about Gabriele and Carlos trying to rekindle their relationship and actually kill herself at the end of tonight's episode, but she didn't. I thought this mainly because of what Marc Cherry said about Nicolette Sheridan being involved with the first episode. I didn't even realize, until now, that he never said only the first. However, I wouldn't be surprised if my prediction comes true as the season goes on.
