Looking for Song of the South

I know this is a long shot... but I loved this movie and I can't find much to do about it.
Well, it was never released on a home video format in the U.S. There is a PAL-format video from the UK that had been released, that you could probably find on eBay, but, if you're in the U.S., you'd have to convert it to watch it on your VCR. There are also the Korean (?) & Japanese laser discs, which you could probably find on eBay, too.
Then there's always file-sharing websites (like LimeWire). I know nothing about those types of websites, but my husband used one to download our copy of SOTS (which we never would do these days, but I'm glad he downloaded it back then).
We're hoping that Disney will release SOTS on DVD eventually...
