I just found this story on one of my news tickers. I'm not a fan of HSM but It could kind of sad what this might do to Vanessa Hudgens career. That is unless it only promotes it, look at Miss Paris Hilton.

Supposedly, this is NOT the first time there have been issues with the cast of HSM.

According to Jim Hill Zac Effron has been a pain to deal with at Disney, being a total male diva on the set of HSM 2 to the point where Disney doesn't want anything to do with him and prefers to work with Corbin Bleu.

Everytime somthing like this comes out, I think about how Walt didn't even want Annette to show her navel, and I become sad about the world we live in today. Of course, I'm also a guy and had to get a look at that pic...

I'm not big on Vanessa Hudgens most of the time (sometimes I reluctantly find her mildly attractive), but it's a pretty nice pic. *ahem*

Though she seems to be stuck in the '70's, if you know what I mean. Hope that wasn't over the line.

As for Vanessa, out of all of the HSM girls, since she is with Zac, I could see something like this happening. I'm not a celebrity, but I wouldn't even take pictures of myself naked (lol, that's a funny thing to say). Celebrities should know better, especially in this era of stalkeratzi. It's unfortunate. Not all Disney girls are bad (Hilary Duff, Ashley Tisdale, etc.)...

At first I thought it was a spam, but then I check the link and was surpised...very. Loads of things going thru my mind, why on earth would she do this?? I agree with Amy that she could've done it for Zac (since they are dating) and she even admited the pic is defintly her... Hard to see something like this happen in Walt's time...hmm.... let's hope this doesn't damage HSM franchise.

I think you can be sexy without taking your clothes off." (p. 141))

I heard that Zac/Disney weren't seeing eye to eye on some levels, but I'll defintly read the gossip magzines (Cosmogirl) and such. Hopefuly this turns out alright.

"CosmoGirl" isn't a gossip magazine- it's a teen girl magazine (just like "Seventeen" magazine)!

That's insane. I never cared for Vanessa Hudgens, but Escapay is right, she is a Hollywood idiot. Disney turned these kids into stars and they're not one bit grateful. The only big cast members of HSM that seem glad and grateful to be at Disney are Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu. Zac Efron needs to get off his high horse! Even when they show the HSM 2 premiere spots on Disney 365 on Disney Channel, Zac seems to act as if he is king of everything, and could be doing something better with his time. He gets me aggravated .

“It was an extremely hard decision to do. Vanessa has become apart of the family, but we felt it was irresponsible of her to do what she did,” say insiders. Adrienne will replace Vanessa in the role of Gabriella, Zac Efron’s love interest in the upcoming “High School Musical 3.”

Anyway:

Are you guys serious? You're getting all worked up over Vanessa, who wanted to stay a Disney girl and actually liked being in a successful but "wholesome" family-friendly franchise, would want a naked picture of her passed around which she knew would ruin her chances? Please. Today, children want to be seen as adults, as well as be seen as sexy. They want people to love them not just because of what they do, but how they look, how they were born, what they will always be (without surgery).

I'm gussing Vanessa took the picture privately for some boy she liked, if it was Zac or otherwise, or just for herself, to feel good about herself, to feel beautiful, and perhaps the photo taker or someone close to her she gave it to put it on the internet. I'm sure she wouldn't want a friend ruining her career, so perhaps she was just careless or too trustworthy, but unless she secretly wanted out just like Zac (and Zac is staying with HSM!), I don't think she wanted this to happen.

So stop judging her!

So what? It is not like it is hard core pornogrophy. It is her and all of our bodies natural state. Nothing to be ashamed at.

im not shocked with her taking her nude photos. i mean she is human after all and she has her urges..and zac, triple that urge. but im disappointed that she didnt think of the consequences. celebrities r bound to be backstabbed by people close to them. come on the pictures couldnt have just walked away by itself....as for taking nude photos, im fine with that.even donald like sexy ladies.and that was in the 40s..

The people will get confused because next year Adrienne will star in "The Cheetah Girls 3", and if she stars in "HSM 3", too..

I like Adrienne and the Cheetah Girls, don't get me wrong, but I think that Vanessa should stay for HSM3...she IS Gabriella. That would just be really weird. If Disney IS going to replace Vanessa, don't use someone from another popular Disney commodity- that will get confusing, as bruno_wbt said.

Disney has already commented on the matter on CNN. They will not drop her because of this. That being said she along with all cast members remain unsigned for HSM3
