Please keep my Nephew in your thoughts and prayers.

I would like to ask that you all keep my little nephew, Camden, in your thoughts and prayers. He 2 1/2 years old, and is a fellow Disney/Pixar fan (his favorite film is Cars). My Sister told me a few days ago that he has had these two knots on his neck since he was 8 or 9 months old. I had never noticed them, nor had my Mother. The doctor, at that time, said that it wasn't anything to be concerned about. Just recently, she took him to that same doctor, and the doctor asked my Sister how long he has had these knots. She said, "Well, since he was 8 or 9 months old. You told me it was nothing to be concerned about." However, the doctor said he wanted to send him to a surgeon to have them checked out. So, she took him to the surgeon, and although he isn't too concerned about them, he does want to biopsy them, just to make sure. It makes me very mad that the original doctor is just now deciding to have it looked at, when initially he said it was nothing to worry about. That's beside the point. The procedure is in the morning. They have to be at the hospital at 6:30 a.m., central, and the surgery to do the biopsy is at 8:30 a.m., central. Even though it is an outpatient procedure, they still have to put him to sleep.
I have faith and belief that it's nothing to worry about, but, I would like ask for your good thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. Everything helps. He is such a joy to our entire family. He's the jewel of my eye. He's the sweetest little boy that you could ever imagine. So full of love, so full of life. I, and my entire family, would appreciate any good thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. Thank you.

Thank you all for the good thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. My Sister just called and said that they are already done, and headed home. She said that Camden was such a good boy, and came through the biopsy just fine. They took three large lymph nodes out, and will send them off for testing, and a culture. The doctor said that he had some sort of infection, which is causing the lymph nodes to be reactive. He said that it is a normal occurance when the body has an infection. They want to make sure there is nothing wrong in the lymph nodes, and are doing the culture to see what caused the infection. My Sister said that she had talked to some other people, and found out that this is not uncommon. Anyway, they are headed home, and she said he was in his child seat, eating Finding Nemo snacks (another one of his favorite films), and talking up a storm. I am going to go see him, later today. I'm just so glad to hear that he came through it well.
I continue to ask for your good thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. We still have to wait for the results, which we hope and pray is good news. Again, I want to thank those of you who are so kind to offer your support.

Thanks! I appreciate it.
I'm pretty fond of his name, too. It fits him so well. I'll have to get a recent picture of the little guy, and post it. He's just so adorable.

I've prayed for your nephew and family, Kevin, and will continue to do so. That kind news is scary in any situation, let alone for such a young child, but oftentimes these things turn out to be nothing more than just scares, and hopefully that's the case here.

Thank you all, so much!
I just got home from visiting him. My Mom was there, visiting, as well, so it was great to see her. He was asleep when I got there, but, he woke up about an hour later. Immediately he got up, came over to my Mom and me, and gave us both hugs. He was so happy to see us. Then, he said, "I want to watch Cars, K.K.!" (that's his nickname for me). My Mom said, "Can we watch Finding Nemo?" (my Mom LOVES that movie). Camden said, "Okay". So, we watched that. My Sister cooked an awesome dinner, which was chicken enchilladas, with tortilla chips and salsa, and rice. Right after we finished dinner, Finding Nemo was over, and Camden asked me to put in Cars. As soon as it started, he went and brought out all of his Cars vehicles, and asked my Mom and I to play with him. So, we were playing with the cars, while watching Cars, and he just loved that. He's acts just like it's any other day. He came through just fine, and is doing very well.
I told my family about requesting good thoughts, prayers, and well wishes at UltimateDisney.com, and of the kind support that you all offered. They wanted me to thank you all, from the bottom of their hearts. I thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, as well.

Thank you all! I really appreciate it.
Here's the most recent picture I have of Camden. This was taken in March, around his 2nd Birthday. My Sister has some more recent pictures to send for me to print, as I work in a photolab. I'm just waiting for her to give me the CD to print them from.
I know I'm partial, but, I just think he's the most adorable person in the world!
