I must be growing old but with all these animation studio's nowadays
who knows what anymore, let me list them for you as far as I know:

Walt Disney Animation Studio's/ Pixar Animation Studio's
(Still think there's a diferent approach)
Dreamworks Animation Studio's
Aardman Studio's
Ghibli Studio's
Don Bluth Studio's (Altough owned by Fox)
Sony Animation
Fox Animation ( By this I'm referring to the Simson's Movie)
Warner Bros Animation
Tim Burton Animation
Blue Sky Studio's (Ice Age...)
The Jim Henson Company (altough partially owned by Disney now)

I must be laeving something out
(dope tends to have such effects  )

No but seriously, the list can't end there
Who else knows more studio's?

Jim Henson is animation?

Also, there are many Japanese and other foreign animation studios.

Production I.G. (Rurouni Kenshin, Le Chevalier D'Eon, the Tales game series...)
ufotable (Weiss Kruez, Tales of Symphonia OVA)
Studio Pierrot (Naruto)
Toei Animation (Sailor Moon)
Gonzo (Romeo x Juliet, Chrono Crusade, Final Fantasy Unlimited)

The only reason why I know all this is because my sister is a ginormous fan of anime, Le Chevalier D'Eon aside.

I know I'll probably be flamed for this, but does it matter? Yes, other studios are competition for Disney, but Disney is improving. My bet is that it will always "triumph" in the long run, so to speak.

You have a valid point there Prudence, but this is something that interests me and I believe others as well.
I want to know wether there are more good studio's with decent animation so that I can further extend my animated film collection :)
