If a "true" Goofy cartoon hasn't been made since 1961, will they still use the same intro? I mean the face of Goofy combined with the old title cards and the intro song or melody and such?

I could not find the answer to your question ... but I did find some more info on 4 new shorts that Disney is making ...

Four new shorts are in development at Disney: “The Ballad of Nessie,” a stylized account of the origin of the Loch Ness monster; “Golgo’s Guest,” about a meeting between a Russian frontier guard and an extraterrestrial; “Prep and Landing,” in which two inept elves ready a house for Santa’s visit; and “How to Install Your Home Theater,” the return of Goofy’s popular “How to” shorts of the ’40s and ’50s, in which a deadpan narrator explains how to play a sport or execute a task, while Goofy attempts to demonstrate — with disastrous results. The new Goofy short is slated to go into production early next year.

Looks like some has removed the file or something, but it will probably show up again somewhere.

I'd love to see more and more new Goofy shorts. We have so much yet to learn "How To" do!

Given Disney's deal with Chelsea FC, perhaps they could (finally) produce a "How To Play Soccer" short...with the Goof in Chelsea blue, no less.
