What's Your Talent?

I thought this would be a fun thread to have. So what are your talents? Don't worry about being accused of bragging! If you're good at something, say so!!!

Personally, I'm pretty intelligent, I sing and act pretty well and I'm strangely talented at hoola-hooping :P (I can go for hours anywhere from my neck to my knees)

Oh, and no negative people saying things like "I'm no good at anything" because I bet there's something!!!!

Anyway - have fun!!! :) :) :)

I think I may have mentioned these before, 'dun know...

I have a great singing voice.

And I can make food come out my nose. I don't know how, but that doesn't change the fact that I can.

And then... there's my encyclopedic knowledge of lots of horror movie facts.

Music Talents:

Got into it since Freshmen, I call it my Hannah Montana side......My folks don't know my sercet life *laughs* (seriously they don't know that I sing at Talent shows)

Sports: I really loved Track, felt so relaxed, pumped and such for my events, miss it very much especialy running semi endless extra laps (in a good way)

Life: Can't think of a signifcant talent but I'm mostly remembered for leaving legaacys at certain places (ie Canyonview Camp, left an outstanding legacy)

I'm a pretty good singer and can even sing light opera which is great fun once you get the hang of it.
I am also good at learning languages.

And, candydog, I am a good hoola-hooper too. I could do that for hours, but after sometime it does get kinda exhausting.

Hmm... I wonder?

I can also sing pretty well but it depends on the song a lot...

I am fair at singing and acting (so I'm told) and I'm pretty good at drawing. Maybe I should dig up some of those videos when our school did the musical Little Women last year on Youtube.

I.....sing, I dance..or at least I'm able to watch someone and after a few tries/watches I can almost do it myself, but I'm unable to create something of my own as of yet. That's about it.....I'm pretty handy at Bocche Ball though :D

I can sing pretty well, though I have a limited bass range, and I am so witty you will want to shoot yourself.

With all the singing talent we have here, we should make an UD.com musical.

It'd be really fun if all of us could like record something and post it here.
But I doubt that everyone owns a microphone. I don't.

I have a very good memory while learning, and I think I can learn languages well (not great, just good). I am good all around in academics. I have my own opinion, and I am not easily swayed by the masses. I can play racing video games well.

I don't have that capability, but here is a video of me and my friend singing an audtion for our school musical last year (we didn't actually have notes, so I'm waaaay pitchy and the video is way off from the audio), here is from the actual show (I'm the knight if you didn't catch that), and this is a song our show choir did last year (based on the last two videos, try and find me).

Well, I'm really good at converting oxygen into carbon dioxide, been doing it continuously for more than 22 years! ;)

Strangely enough, in real life my dry wit is severely lacking, so I guess it's only an online talent.

In terms of regular talent, I'm particularly proud of some of my writing, as I really enjoy writing dark psychological pieces, then counter it with some comedic screwball ones. Two of my ongoing projects is a no-end-in-sight fanfic utilizing the two leads from Bringing Up Baby and an always-changing-still-creepy play that was inspired by the portrait of Gene Tierney in Laura. I won an award for an essay I wrote in the fifth grade, and I always excelled in my writing classes. Several short pieces appeared in our high school's literary magazine (then again, I was one of the senior co-editors, so I had some pull...), and at one point, I was able to film one of my early writing projects as an extremely low-budget soap-operatic miniseries (like...5 minute episodes, though only 2 were fully filmed, with the third never getting done). That doesn't really count though, since it was for my A/V class where we had a school news segment due every month (for our monthly news show "WTHS Monthly Rewind"), and could film other projects (that could air as part of the show) if we ever had extra time, and I always did.

I can whistle really well. I whistle so often that when my girlfriend comes over, I'm too tired to...pucker.*

I can wiggle both my ears, though I can't do them one at a time, and they don't wiggle very much (it's more like a tiny vibration than a full-on Dumbo-on-a-good-day wiggle).

I won't bother saying I can sing really well, because I can't. It's more of a harmonizing-with-whatever-I'm-listening-to-singing rather than a into-a-microphone-with-good-pitch-and-projection singing. I used to sing in elementary school (you know, back when everyone had a good voice regardless), but never really continued with it. I really only like singing to myself and not projecting it out to an audience.

I think my favorite talent though, is my disturbing ability to memorize things that really interest me and retain that information years after I read it. For example, even though I haven't been a committed soap fan in the last couple years I can still rattle off cast member names (and the years they were on the show), specific dates, and certain storylines on a show in great detail.

Scaps

*I don't have a girlfriend, but if you know where that joke came from, I'll give you a pink elephant.
