I would have bought this, since I still need to pick up the first one, but...eww, no thanks. I think I'll stick with my four-disc Two Towers special edition that day.

Didn't you hear - Peter Jackson announced that the Extended Edition would be available in full screen/pan n' scan ONLY.

not again. I still will probably pick up SC2 because I'm a fan of SC. I hate the Full Screen Crap. Darn disney and their sucky transfers!!

maybe they will mislabel these and they will indeed be widescreen (like That Darn Cat).
We can only wish and hope.
Disney is going brain dead...if that is the case, i will start asking for organs

Just to clarify, there WILL be dual releases of The Santa Clause 2. And there are dual releases of The Santa Clause.
It's just the box set that will only be available in Fullscreen.
And at least it appears that the Fullscreen SC2 will specify that it's Fullscreen on the front cover, as opposed to the Santa Clause SE and Rookie DVDs.

Cute joke, but really, even if it was, that's one DVD I would buy anyway.

Well, that just shows how light and fluffy these will be. When they say "Cast Interviews", they really mean "3 minutes of Fairy Tale Character Fluff."
But you guys aren't getting the commentary, which I was excited about...until I read that it will be "Tim Allen as Santa." Sheesh, the movie appealed to adults and kids, why can't the DVD reach for an above-8 audience too?

"Fluff" I love that word!

Official Word of the Ultimate Disney site!
Commentaries are always certified seperately. However, it's not turned up yet (as far as I know). And remember there may be more supplements to certified at a future date. I'm still expecting more for the Lion King release to turn up soon (at the very least the motion menus need to be certified)
