what awards would you give Disney sequels? (for fun)

I dunno if this topic is okay to post but it was a thought that occured to my head. We all had our criticisms about Disney sequels. Suppose you were gonna give awards. Which sequel would you award the following...
Note: all sequels refer to DTVs plus theatrically released and official feature animation sequels. DTVs only refers to if you were to pick only among those that were direct to video sequels only! You can have the same answer for both if desired. YOU CAN ALSO HAVE TIES.
Try and provide your thoughts and reasons for each choice if possible.

Interesting that you didn't suggest Fantasia 2000, Return to Neverland, or any of the Winnie the Pooh movies that were released theatrically.

I must admit that I've never seen any of the Pooh sequels. I'm not a fan of the series/franchise.
Fantasia couldve been good but the idea of having all these different celebrities introduced each segment ruined it for me. Also like much of the post year 2000 animation, the animation of all the segments looked too square and cartoony.

Hmm, the best seems pointless if you include theatrical releases, because the answer should always be Rescuers Down Under or Toy Story 2, ha. However, I've always been more open-minded to sequels than most people it seems, so I'll take a stab at this. I'm going to try and avoid the ones that are just TV show eps (whether aired or not) combined into a film format. Also, a few sequels I have not bought/seen (yet), such as Mulan 2, Fox and the Hound 2, Lilo and Stitch 2, Leroy and Stitch, and a few others. Plus, I may own one or two I haven't seen yet, like Brother Bear 2.
Highest quality (animation)
All sequels: Rescuers Down Under/Toy Story 2
DTVs only: Bambi 2 (probably because it used animators who worked on stuff like Beauty and the Beast)
Worst quality (animation)
All sequels: Hunchback of Notre Dame 2 (off the top of my head)
Best story/premise (animation)
All sequels: Toy Story 2
DTVs only: Aladdin and the King of Thieves (off the top of my head, but haven't seen it in a while)
Worst premise (animation)
All sequels: Hunchback of Notre Dame 2 (again, off the top of my head, though I loved the original)
Feels like cannon (story works to feel that it can fit into intended timeline)
All sequels: Rescuers Down Under/Toy Story 2
DTVs only: Bambi 2 (I could probably pick on a couple other things too, but off the top of my head, the only flaw to this film was that it used modern songs that separate it from the original film with their style).
So not cannon (story does not work, feels forced into intended timeline)
All sequels: Well, I'm not sure anything here doesn't "fit," though we may wish some of the sequels weren't canon. I will say this though: Cinderella 2 and 3 don't fit together if you really analyze them.
Most altered sequel (themes, characters, songs, and environment does not connect with original film)
All sequels: Aside from the usual alteration of overall quality (which sometimes stays high but still has a more modern look, like with Bambi 2), I'd have to say Lady and the Tramp 2: Scamp's Adventure. I had high hopes for this and some of the concepts/characters would have worked, and Scamp is great in the comics, but they botched this film. One of the biggest mistakes was making it a musical nothing like the style of the original film. And, in truth, most of the time when musicals are made of direct to video films, the budget isn't there for the necessary talent. Or something prevents them from getting good musical talent. There are very few exceptions.
Least altered sequel (feels and sounds as though it were made by the same people who made the original film)
All sequels: Toy Story 2
DTVs only: I haven't seen the Lilo and Stitch sequels yet, but I think they'd be the best bet here. The show almost looks/feels just like the movie, so... (I only have Stitch: The Movie so far, and haven't watched it with my full attention yet). I wonder about Brother Bear 2 as well. Still have to sit and watch both my Brother Bear DVDs.
Most changed original character (character from original film has personality change in sequel)
All sequels: I think in many cases, we get to see more of their personalities rather than what are referred to as changes. However, off the top of my head and with my bad memory, I'll say... well, maybe my precious Ariel I guess. But, it wasn't nonsensical. I mean, she was older and had gone through hardship. I could probably think of a better answer, but it's been a while since I've seen a lot of these.
Least changed original character
All sequels: The Rescuers and Toy Story 2 characters
DTVs only: The Bambi characters
Best new generation character (refers to a son or daughter or an original Disney character ex. Kiara, Scamp etc)
All sequels: Any main characters from Toy Story 2 or Rescuers Down Under, and Jane from Peter Pan 2 (flawed film, but had good to great moments. Wasn't a bad idea, just wasn't perfected.)
DTVs only: Maybe Goofy's new girlfriend in Extremely Goofy movie, and Lars the artist from 101 Dalmatians 2. I also like Kiara and Kovu, and I'm probably forgetting some.
Worst new generation character
All sequels: Ugh, this is hard to say since not all the sequels are fresh in my mind, and I haven't seen them all. I'll have to say the new characters of Hunchback 2.
Best sequel villain (can be a character from original film or new character)
All sequels: McLeach
DTVs only: The subtle villains of Bambi 2, maintained excellently from Bambi 1.
Worst sequel villain
All sequels: Hard to say from memory. Probably the Hunchback 2 guy.
Best new song
All sequels: When Somebody Loves You (Toy Story 2)
DTVs only: I remember liking the songs from 101 Dalmatians 2 and Lion King 2 pretty well.
Worst new song
All sequels: Too many to sift through. First to come to mind, the songs from Scamp's Adventure.
Best THIRD MOVIE sequel
All sequels: Cinderella 3 (Great film for the most part. I am not against Disney sequels because a few were great. Rather than putting an end to them all, they should have just made fewer at HIGH quality)

I'm just going to lump DTV's and Sequels together and do it off the top of my head.
Highest quality (animation)
- Toy Story 2 and/or Rescuers Down Under
Worst quality (animation)
- Hunchback Notre Dame 2 and/or Aladdin 2
Best story/premise (animation)
- Aladdin and The King of Thieves
Worst premise (animation)
- Little Mermaid 2 because it was just a rewrite of the first IMO
Feels like cannon (story works to feel that it can fit into intended timeline)
- Not too sure, maybe the two Aladdin sequels since it leads up to the marriage?
So not cannon (story does not work, feels forced into intended timeline)
- Little Mermaid 2, Cinderella 2, Beauty and the Beast: Enchanted Christmas, maybe also Lion King 2 since there were a few continuity errors
Most altered sequel (themes, characters, songs, and environment does not connect with original film)
- Fox and the Hound 2
Least altered sequel (feels and sounds as though it were made by the same people who made the original film)
- Toy Story 2
Most changed original character (character from original film has personality change in sequel)
- Possibly Tramp in Lady and The Tramp 2
Least changed original character
- Cinderella in Cinderella 3 possibly, maybe even Lilo in her sequels
Best new generation character (refers to a son or daughter or an original Disney character ex. Kiara, Scamp etc)
- Scamp.....and/or Kiara
Worst new generation character
- Melody and/or Tip and Dash
Best sequel villain (can be a character from original film or new character)
- Zira, I kinda like her for some reason despite the HUGE continuity error she makes.
Worst sequel villain
- Morgana and that guy from Hunchback 2 (he's that bad I can't remember his name

)
Best new song
Always There - that song from Lady and the Tramp 2 that's sung near the end.
Worst new song
Not One of Us or w/e it's called from Lion King 2, just never cared for it might have to give it a second chance. Maybe even At The Ball, or Perfectly Perfect from Cinderella 3.
Best THIRD MOVIE sequel
Cinderella 3

Since when movies are non for profit buisiness? Those movies, the original ones, were made with the purpose of making money!!! They were good also!!! Sequels are as good as you want them to be!!! If you like them or your kids enjoy them, then they're good!!! You don't like them: don't buy them!!!

I actually half agree with Reyquila

I know a lot of people that actually like these movies for what they are. I do agree that they aren't exactly the best thing ever to be put out by Disney, but I like them for what they are, and thats all that matters to me in the end. As Reyquila says "Disney made it? I'm watching and buying !!! Period"
