So since I read an article on wdwinfo about a live action snow white I was thinking if they were to male the animated movies live action versions who would play the parts....

So I am going to start with Snow White and put someone I think should play her live action and then you can copy and paste this and add to snow white or choose another character but try and keep the list going so people don't have to read every post!!!!

Snow White - Christina Ricci (she had the perfect face eyes lips I think she would be just perfect)

Well, if they ever did a Walt Biopic, there's some great suggestions in this old thread.

Plus, Annie Liebovitz did some great photos of celebrities as Disney characters!

Princess Aurora - Keira Knightly

I think she has the perfect features for Aurora!

Although her eyes are brown they can just give her contacts.

Oh and i photoshoped the one big picture of Keira, i made her eyes blue and her hair lighter

I also think Anne Hathaway would make a great Aurora they have the same type chin and nose, as for the hair and eyes that would also have to be changed and it would really depend if anne can pull off the blonde hair.

Wow, I wouldn't have though Christina Ricci as a first pick for Snow White but having seen your side-by-sides, I think it would be a really good match! (At least physically... I wonder how high Christina's voice can get).

No one can honestly ever look 100% a disney character. Because they are animated, so there will always be a flaw here or there. I think Rachel McAdams is great for Ariel, she has the same big smile, and can potray the same spunk.

@skyler: I thought of that as well!

Anyway, here's a little picture gallery of Anne-Belle:

They don't look exactly identical, but you can see the resemblance.

Wow guys I am glad I am getting good response I always thought it would be cool if companies like Disney allowed there fans to choose the characters, most of us are huge fans and fans know best, right?

I also think Natalie Portman would make a nice Belle.

As for Rachel McAdams she would make a great Ariel but is she young enough? Seeing she is just about 31?

And Tom for Prince Eric who would have ever thought but I could totally see it plus Tom is a hottie!

As for Christina's voice speaking wise she has a high pitch voice, I think for the role she would have to make her voice sound a little lower and more smooth but after seeing Black Snake Moan she can definetly (sp?) alter her voice. As for singing, I am not really sure. But I would perfer they look more the part because they can run her voice through filters for music. IMO it would be VERY difficult to find an actor/actress to look as close to the character and sound and sing as close to the character as possible, so I would perfect looks.

If someone played snow white but didn't look her but sounded like her I think that would be a bit odd.

Considering the actors would have to sing too, Anne Hathaway would be a great choice. She is a great singer and could do it, I think.

I love the resemblance between Ariel and Rachel McAdams, she looks just perfect for the role.
The same goes for Christina Ricci, especially with the red lip-stick on she looks like a perfect Snow White.

I've always thought that Joanna Lumley would make a great Maleficent.

They have the same nose and smile but she would probably need a prostetic chin!

I think Evanna Lynch looks a bit like Alice. A lot of people keep trying to peg Dakota Fanning as an Alice look-alike, but I think Dakota's facial and body structure are much slimmer than Alice's.

Image

The similarities between Alice and Evanna end with their looks, though. Evanna's voice is much more airy and soft than Alice's, plus she's more reserved and not as cheeky as Alice.

I was trying hard to find a Cinderella look-alike, but while loads of actresses look like the Barbie-ized clipart, I couldn't find any that look like the actual film model.

Wow I just did some alice pics too but Allison Mack and Kristen Bell are a bit older ... but they aren't really old so they may be able to pull it off.

Keep in mind these were a bit harder then the others I had a hard time fitting pics, allison had side bangs in almost everypic and I could only find a few close up's of Alice from WDW

How about Jessica Biel as Jane and maybe Jennifer Love Hewitt for Megara or Esmerelda or maybe Elisha Cuthbert as Cinderella and I was thinking Kristin Kreuk for Mulan but the only other Asian actress I could think about is Brenda Song but I don't think that would work.

I actually cast Evanna Lynch as Eilonwy. Here are my pics on an ongoing art piece I've been working on:

For a different live-action version of Snow White, Kristen Kreuk from Smallville played Snow White, so she might be a good choice as well since she already has some exp. playing the character.

My choice for Snow White also played her once before, Monica Keena (see my art piece for a drawing of her as Snow White).

Unfortunately, going by "Freddy vs. Jason" and other stuff I've seen her in, Monica looks nothing like her gorgeous former self from "Snow White, a Tale of Terror." Nowadays, she looks like she fills her lips with collagin, or whatever that stuff is called, possibly has breast implants, dies her hair blonde and I think has a tattoo or two. She was gorgeous as Snow White and in Ripe though, and I believe she was on Dawson's Creek for a while, though already having gone blonde.

I adore Kristin Kreuk, but I haven't come up with a good Disney girl for her to play yet. I didn't really like that Snow White movie she was in. Alexis Bledel of Gilmore Girls is gorgeous and could probably make a great Snow White, but I don't see her as a live-action incarnation of Disney's cartoon. Ricci looks the part, but I don't buy her as being that super-sweet. I think I might draw her as the girl from Nightmare Before Christmas if anything. Don't get me wrong though, I adore Ricci and was obsessed with her when I was younger. I wish I could fit Emma Watson (Hermione from Harry Potter) into a role. The casting I've done for my art piece so far is as follows:

TinkerBell: Elisha Cuthbert
Cinderella: Hilary Duff (my avatar is from the art piece)
Ariel: Lindy Booth
Mulan: Katie Leung
Eilonwy: Evanna Lynch
Wendy: Kay Panabaker
Alice: Elisabeth Harnois
Jasmine: Aishwarya Rai
Sleeping Beauty: Kirsten Dunst
Snow White: Monica Keena
Pocahontas: Irene Bedard
Belle: Rachael Leigh Cook

Ones I still have planned are:

Lindsay Lohan as Kim Possible
Danielle Panabaker as Slue Foot Sue
Reese Witherspoon as Katrina Van Tassel
Rachel Hurd Wood as Jane from Tarzan

and hopefully I'll come up with some more too.
