Disneyland Shopping Question

I live in Southern California and I go to Disneyland a few times a year, though I don't have an annual pass yet. The last few times I went there was a shirt that I noticed and liked but didn't buy. But now, i'm going somewhere where this particular shirt would be a perfect thing to wear. But, I don't want to pay the admission to the park just to buy this shirt.
I was wondering if anyone knew if Disneyland offered any kind of Shopping Pass. I know Sea World has one, where you pay about half price to get into the park for about an hour and shop, then upon leaving within that time slot you get your money back. Does Disneyland offer anything like this for somebody who just want to get into the park to shop and NOT go to any of the rides or attrations? Because even though I would love to go to Disneyland, I don't want to battle all the July crowds.
If anyone knows anything about this, or knows of a way to help me out, please let me know!!

As far as I know, if you want into the parks, you have to pay for it. Once you are in the park, you are free to use whatever you want, so I don't think there would be any way of monitoring it!
However, if you just want to go to the Downtown Disney shopping area, that is free of charge and accessible by the general public. The World of Disney store is huge, and contains many of the in-park items. However, there are a number of bits of merchandise that are only available exclusively in the park. It pays to pay sometimes!

There actually is a free one hour shopping pass available at Disneyland, subject to pretty strict guidelines. (Not sure if it's also available at California Adventure). For more information, check out this link:

I was going to ask how they monitored that, but I see a deposit is required. I wish I had known that when I was last there, as there was a last minute purchase I wanted to make on the last day, and our hopper had run out at that point. Good to know for the next trip. Thanks, Good Sir Aaron.

I suppose it would be possible to make a quick purchase at a souvenir stand during the off-season and then hop in line for a quick ride 'round Space Mountain while on that one hour pass, not that I would advocate such a thing. Still, I'm sure it happens.

I can't imagine ever being in Anaheim without taking out a few days to spend at Disneyland. Even so, I am strangely thrilled thinking about all the possible things one could do spending a free hour in Disneyland. It would definitely be something worth taking advantage of, even just to get a quick park experience.

Me too! I almost want to tack on an extra day to my trip to take advantage of it.
