Question about "Play.com (UK)"

Hi,

I've never ordered from Play.com before and I'm thinking of purchasing a DVD from there hence it's at a very reasonable price and it's brand new. However, I'm a bit of a Monica Gellar, so, I'm really particular about the condition of my dvds; I always like to buy them sealed so that I know that no one else has touched them and I want them free from all rips/ tears, scratches/marks and dents. So, do Play.com dvds come sealed and free from damage in any way shape or form? Thanks.

Me too! I'm a psycho when it comes to my DVDs! Play.com DVDs sometimes come in a cardboard package, sometimes in a jiffy bag. DVDs in amaray cases generally arrive in mint condition, but cardboars box sets can be dented in transition. And yes, they're all sealed.

DVDs from PLAY.COM do come sealed. However, a few times it has happened, as with all other mail orders for DVDs I have done, that the disk has come loose during transportation and got scratches. This happened with a copy of Spirited Away but it was replaced without any problems.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone :D . I'm just a little worried now because the DVDs I have my eye on, come in a cardboard box set. I might order them anyway because they are at such a resonable price and If I am displeased with the condition of the case I'll send them back (If I can that is :( ). Oh, and one last question; do CDs come sealed too?

Don't worry, if damaged, they will be replaced - and yes, CDs are sealed too.
