when do you think Disney has pushed sequels and prequels and remakes to far?

Remakes: when they remake every film including the ones that just came.
Prequels: when the plots start getting repeative.
Sequels: when it just gets annoying and the stories stink worse than a skunk in a perfume store.

When do I think it's too far? Well, if Cinderella II: Dreams Come True and The Hunchback of Notre Dame 2 are any indication...

Anyway, I enjoy only a few of the sequels (Return to Neverland, The Fox and the Hound 2, and Beauty and the Beast: Enchanted Christmas probably stand as my top three), but there definitely were some I could have done without such as the two aforementioned films as well as stuff like The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea and The Lion King 1 1/2.

If there's anything more reliable than the Greenwich Time Zone, it's reyquila buying a Disney DVD. :P ;)

I think that Cinderella II was cute but it wasn't good for a movie. If they were going to do what they did with, they should've made the short stories into a TV series. I'm not sure if many people would watch it though.

Sequels go too far when the content is actually just a few pilot episodes for a rejected TV series! Don't put a "II" on that, if you must release it on tape!

and they also shouldn't put a 2 or a II on a movie if its a preguel. what does disney think a 2 means.

Disney went to far when they released The Return of Jafar, un-theatrically. The worst type of movie is one that is not released into theaters, mostly because of their terrible style and horrid quality.

Do you have the Tom and Jerry: The Movie released by Miramax? What about the Arabian Knight? And lets not forget Renaissance.

Sorry about the double post, but both are separate responses.

What is a "prequel" anyway? I've never heard of it before. Can you please explain?

A prequel is a movie made after another one, but takes place before the events of the first movie. :P

A preguel is another word for the ancestors of the Guel Family. ;)

I would! I agree; it would have made for a cute TV series. Plus, I'd get to see more of the characters. I miss them. You shush, I'm weird.

Here's the prime example of going too far -
The Land Before Time. It's become dino soup.
