I never cared for them, but one of them did invade my beloved General Hospital for a couple days in the summer of 2003...

Or, just watch the video here.

Speaking of Aly and AJ, I just saw them on MTV Cribs today. They have one kick ass house. I like their personalities a lot. It's funny because I know Aly is Keely from Phil of the future, but it's seems like Keely is played by a completely different actress. Aly seems nothing like Keely, and of course I know it's because she's acting...but when I see Aly now, I'm like..."I can't believe she was Keely!"

Same thing happened when I got out of my odd crush on "Lizzie McGuire" yeah she's perfect and Hilary Duff doesn't do justice! She is still kinda hot though. Funny because I never really paid much attention to Alyson M, she was always just "there"

On the hot scale...I think Aly wins over AJ.

Ha, knew an official thread would be coming soon. I actually didn't really know that much about them until this January when I saw a few of their video clips on the Disney Channel. Then I got interested in them and researched Into The Rush and Acoustic Hearts of Winter. Might get Insomniatic if it's released here, AHOW will be soon, so I'll get that. Potential Break-Up Song is really good, I play it tons. Can't wait for more from them. Oh, and I want to see Cow Belles and Sweet Sixteen. Haven't seen either yet. I'm ashamed.

Let's just say I've seen my share of bad actors on soap operas, and she makes them look like Laurence Olivier or Katharine Hepburn. Understandable, of course, as her 2-day character is nothing but a whiny spoiled brat whose sole purpose was to annoy both the viewers and the characters on the show.

I think she did okay, but I can see why Aly is more noticable as an actress, but I also think they're both better as singers. I love that they help write most of the songs. I find that the best part of their music and the part that makes them stand out to me.

Guys, the new Aly and AJ movie "Super Sweet 16" will be available from the 10th of July. Don't know if it's aired on MTV yet, it's a movie spin-off of the show, of which the first two seasons are available now. You can preorder it here-

Yes and no. I mean, she's squinting really hard...it looks like her character thinks she's cool or something...

I wonder if the movie will be any good...I haven't seen it on MTV yet.

Here's a quote about their supposed ssecond single off Insomniatic-
"Like Whoa" is a song from Aly & AJ's third studio album Insomniatic. The song is to be featured in the sisters' upcoming movie with MTV, Super Sweet 16: The Movie.

It is also going to be a single off of Insomniatic. It has been confirmed by the girls that "Like Whoa" will be the second single from Insomniatic and the video will be shooting sometime in mid- July.
Hmm, interesting.

I really like "Insomniatic". My complaint is how a bunch of slower songs are at the end...I wish they scattered those throughout the album better. But, I really like the album. (going back now, only 2 slower songs are at the end, separated by a mid-tempo, but, when driving, it seems like more, I guess)

My very favorite songs are:
"Bullseye", "Division", and "Like It or Leave It".

My close seconds are:
"Potential Break-Up Song", "Closure", "Like Whoa", and "If I Could Have You Back".

My close third is, I guess:
"Flattery".

I guess the first half of the album stands out more than the 2nd half. The "Chemicals React" remix isn't very different from the original version- it's just not as guitar-heavy as the original, and I think the drumming is softer in the remix. I prefer the original version.

Do you have a special version of the CD? Mine (just the normal version) doesn't have a song called "Careful With Words".

I got mine at "Target"- I didn't know that "Blush" was an exclusive, though- the CD case makes no mention of that! Cool...!
Is "Careful With Words" fast or slow-tempoed?

No. I emssed up,sorry,lol.

BLUSH is on ALL Insomniatic CDs.

TEARS should be on Targets'.

Careful With Words is my favorite song. It's medium, not fast or slow, and has a very nice beat.

Thanks! I wonder if "Tears" was on the special version at Target- there was one that was $2 more, but I don't know what was on it (apparently that song!)...I don't think I had an extra $2, so I got the $9.99 version.

When it gets released in Australia, I hope we get those bonus tracks. Or when it gets re-released as a deluxe edition. I like that there's extra tracks, but it's annoying that there's so many available from so many places.
