Disney Villain Cake Competition

Two of my favorite things have been combined yet again: Food Network and Disney. Next Sunday, June 10th (I believe at 9pm) the Food Network will air a special cake challenge in which the competators will be constructing cakes in the shape of Disney Villains. I just saw the commercial for the special today. From the commercial I can confrim that there will be a Scar, Captain Hook, and I believe even an Ursula cake. There will probably be more, those are just the ones I happened to note in the commercial. I am so excited to see this competition, I love Food Network Challenges, and of course I love Disney villains as well so it should be really great. Make sure you check your local listings so that you can check it out.

:) That's awesome! Thanks for posting, Simba3! Food Network is my 2nd favorite channel, after Disney Channel! I haven't watched the Food Network since Friday, and I haven't seen this commercial. I'm hoping I'll be home in time to watch on Sunday (I'm going away next weekend).

I like to watch those cake competitions. I seen an Elvis and wedding one. I believe the wedding one was for a couple who were getting warried at Disney World. Anyway, I like to see this, and I hope they do Ursula's tentacles in a neat way.

I Googled that, even "charm city cakes cinderella", but didn't find any photos of that Cinderella cake. Know exactly where to find it online? I checked the official web site, too, it wasn't there.

I can now also confirm that there will be a Cruella DeVil cake.

So far the list consists of: Cruela DeVil, Scar, Captain Hook, Ursula, and a still unnamed Disney Villain. I am really hoping for Maleficent, the most villainous of all the Disney villains.

I'm really hoping for the last to be the Witch from Snow White, perhaps the most evil of them all, and considering that they should probably use the most iconic and visually impressive of the villains (though, considering this, they probably should have replaced Scar with either Maleficent, Jafar or Chernabog, but I suppose Scar's quite popular). I'm really looking forward to seeing what Cruella and Ursula's cakes look like, because they offer a lot of design possibilities!

But, unfortunately, I live in the UK, so I can't watch it!

I rather it be Chernabog as the last. he would be interesting to make with huge wings, mountain, all dark etc.
