Question about sales

I just discovered that a movie (The Horse Without a Head) that I wanted to purchase to complete my required purchases is now on sale for $16.99. At this price it won't qualify for my required purchases, and I don't plan on buying anything else from the club for a while...at least until they come up with some more exclusives.

My question is, are the sales temporary? Based on other people's experiences, can I expect the price to return to $19.99 soon or is the markdown simply the new price indefinitely? Or does a sale mean the title is being discontinued (gasp)? I called customer services and was not given a direct answer.

Every month, there are sales. Deals such as Buy 2 get 25% off your order, 20% off your purchase, buy 1 get 2 for 25% off, and things like that. So, the price will go up when the sale is over, but you may be able to use another deal during the next deal period (a month from the current deal). Sometimes, movies are "Super Savers", meaning that they are offered at a cheap price all the time. Unless the movie says "Super Saver", then chances are the price will go back up.

Well "The Horse Without a Head" is part of the DMC's club deals. The club deals change when the current feature title changes, so you you should be able to buy "The Horse Without a Head" for full price on June 5th when the feature title changes.

......I'm not all the way sure but I believe that club deals only apply online. If you were to call the DMC you should be able to order it at full price......

When you call, they'll ask you if you have any sale codes. If you don't use one, then you will get the movie for the full price.
