For a long time, I resisted the urge to start the expensive habit of collecting Disney plushes. Those free plushes that accompany Disney DVDs ended up doing me in, though, and I'm now a newborn avid collector. I stay away from the big ones and only collect the smallish (usually $10-15 each and around 9" tall) ones. My collection is as follows:

The Fab Five
  • *Donald - Class of 2007 Graduation (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
*Donald - Pirate Donald 9" (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
*Goofy - 2006 Chernabog Goofy (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
*Goofy - 2007 St. Patrick's Day Goofy (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
*Mickey - 50th Anniversary Drum Major (Disneyland Resort Happiest Homecoming on Earth Collection)
*Mickey - 2006 Captain Hook Mickey Mouse (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
*Mickey - 2006 Haunted Mansion Mickey (Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party 2006 Exclusive)
*Mickey - 2007 Tourist Mickey with Fanny Pack (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
*Mickey - Chef Mickey Mouse (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
*Mickey - Class of 2007 Graduation (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
*Mickey - Retro Christmas Mickey (The Disney Store)
*Mickey - Year of a Million Dreams Mickey (Disney Dream Friends Collection)
*Minnie - 2006 Evil Queen Minnie (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
*Minnie - Pirate Red Hair Lady Minnie 9" (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
*Minnie - Retro Christmas Minnie (The Disney Store)
*Pluto - Pirate Pluto 9" (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
Animated Classics
  • *Abu (Aladdin DVD - Retailer Exclusive)
    *Cheshire Cat (The Disney Store)
    *Dumbo (The Disney Store)
    *Flounder (The Disney Store)
    *Flower (The Disney Store)
    *Maleficent (The Disney Store)
*Maleficent - Dragon (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
*Marie - Halloween Witch Marie (The Disney Store)
    *Sebastian (The Disney Store)
*Sebastian (The Little Mermaid DVD - Retailer Exclusive)
*Stitch - Holiday Scoot Stitch (The Disney Store)
*Thumper (Bambi DVD - Retailer Exclusive)
*Timothy Q. Mouse (The Disney Store)
*Tramp (Lady and the Tramp DVD - Retailer Exclusive)
Pixar
  • *Bruce (Disney Store)
The Muppets
  • *Kermit the Frog (Walt Disney World Muppet*Vision 3D Collection)
Theme Park Attraction Characters
  • *Pirates of the Caribbean Dog with Keys (Authentic Original Disney Theme Parks Collection)
Touchstone/Hollywood
  • *Sister Mary Clarence Bear in Nun Suit (Unofficial)

34 in total, with more to hopefully come in the future. Anyone else collect these? If so, which ones do you have?

I know that I have, like, a bajillion stuffed animals, and I'm sure half of them are Disney, but I wanted to post something in here because I remember that the first stuffed animal that I ever got was Raja, and I was so excited it wasn't even funny. I'm pretty sure he came from the Disney Store.

I have a photo I've taken recently I can probably post somewhere, so I will do that when I get home. There isn't a huge amount, as I'm fairly selective.

However, mine can be split up something like:

*Dumbo - '87 Circus Fantasy (Theme Park Edition)
*Tigger - Theme Park purchase in 1987. Not sure how unique it is...

*Mickey - Three Musketeers (DVD Bonus)
*Mickey - Bandleader Mickey (50th Anniversary/Happiest Homecoming Theme Park)
*Mickey - Chinese New Year 2007 (Theme Park Exclusive)
*Mickey - Jedi (Theme Park Edition)
*Minnie - Princess (Hong Kong Disneyland 1st Anniversary - same line as the 50th above with different label on foot)
*Goofy - Christmas 2006 (Hong Kong Disneyland)

*Stitch - Hollywood Tower of Terror (Theme Park)
*Stitch - Theme Park purchase in 2005. Not sure how unique it is...

There are also various Winnie the Pooh's about, but I'd have to count them all... :)

I took this picture a few months ago...I'm too lazy to list who everyone is (you know that, anyway!).

Since then, I've adopted a few more...

can i post a subtopic in here?
i also collect the Disney Princess Barbies. I have the Glitter Princess Series and am working on the Gem Princess series. I just found out yesterday I missed the Sparkle Princess Series and its near impossible to get the whole set online so I think I may have to skip it altogether. They are getting better at making the Ariel doll look like Ariel. The first one from the Glitter Series looked terrible but the gem series one looks great. The Sparkle Ariel also looks amazing but I dont want to spend 30-40 on a ten dollar doll.
Jasmine is hardest to find. I bought my first set at Christmas and called every store in the area with no luck and had to order her from some website and I had to do the same thing with this series. What is it about Jasmine that makes her so unmarketable? They told me at Christmas that she isnt a popular doll...what the heck?

anyone else into these?

I have Meeko from Disney Store at the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls, S.D.
I have Musical Mickey from Disney World (unfortunately, he's 11 years old and showing wear and tear. His jacket is in bad shape. He's the one that plays teh Mickey Mouse Club theme when you wind the little music "key" up on his back). Got it when I went to Disney World in 1996.
Betsy Ross Minnie from Boston Disney Store
Mickey (not from Disney World or Disney Store) I got at Kohls.
Little Meeko (mini version of the one I had gotten in 1995, from an outlet store in Orlando area)
Minnie (classic, I think she's from Disney Store)
Percy from Pocahontas (Disney Store)

That's what I can remember off the top of my head.

You have some great plushes, Loomis. I like the unique ones you can find in the parks. And blackcauldron85, well, wow! You have a whole Disney city there! :)

I don't collect plushes, but I do have a little Pumba. It used to be that if you gave him a hard pat he'd say either "Hakuna Matata" or "I eat like a pig!". But he doesn't talk anymore. Apparently he got patted one too many times... :(

Awesome collection, blackcauldron85! Puts mine to shame. You've got some really cool ones that I've never seen before.

I'll try to get a picture of my collection soon.
