Disney DVD Fan Requests

Hi everyone!
I was just wondering if Disney has an official site to give feedback on their DVD's, as well as vote on which movies/shows to be released? For the company I'm sure they're more focused on sales, but I think it will be useful for them in gauging the demand for which movies/shows are brought to DVD. Personally, I think they've done a fantastic job with the Platinum DVD's (Little Mermaid, Beauty and Beast, Aladdin, and Lion King). They're loaded with great extras, behind the scenes and deleted material; you really get your money's worth with these sets. I'd love for them to put Hercules, Tarzan, and Mulan on to them as well. And I know they're are plenty of Gargoyles fans (cartoon series from the late 90's) that are pushing for the next DVD collection (Season 2, vol 2).
So I guess my question is in short: how do we get Disney's attention and show them the level of demand for a movie/show to be released on DVD?

I would probably give my left pinkie to see Kids Inc. on a dvd set. I loved that show when I was younger, then it was just gone. There was one epi I had recorded and would play over and over, and I wish I could see it again, all I remember is Love Hewitt is a ballerina and singing some song, but I just loved that song...

Wow- Kids Incorporated - I remember that show! That is old school!

See, I think a DVD request site would be so useful for fans.
I'd also be interested in seeing The Black Cauldron, just out of curiousity. That was one movie I always wanted to see as a kid, but never got to.

Hello,
What does plenty of Gargoyles fans (Gargoyles series from the late 90's) mean that are pushing for the next DVD collection of Gargoyles Season 2, Volume 2 on DVD to complete the collection that I also will? How will I get Disney's attention and show them the level of demand for Gargoyles Season 2, Volume 2 to be released on DVD to complete the Gargoyles DVD collection? Where is the Disney's website location of voting on TV Shows of Gargoyles Season 2, Volume 2 on DVD to be released? Thank you.
Jonny

If you call Disney's customer service line (sorry I can't remember the number but it's been in numerous threads - search Disney Customer Service) they have a whole spiel on their recording about how to tell them what shows you'd like released on DVD.

You know, sharing our DVD wishes on a site like this is a way of enlightning Disney on what we want released. I'm sure lots of Disney insiders browse this forum as lurkers. We even have our very own BVHE-Rep!
Hmm ... you never know. A Disney executive may be reading your last post, or maybe Glen Keane - who really wants to know what you thought of his last animation or the upcoming Rapunzel, or maybe Bob Iger.
Wow. Wouldn't it be swell if we get to communicate with Glen Keane or Andreas Deja!?

I'd die with excitement. Is there even any way for a fan to contact these guys?

Mulan already got a 2 Disc DVD in 2004, which whilst not technically a Platinum Edition, served the same purpose. Tarzan also had a 2 Disc DVD out at one point (and it still is out outside the US in the form of a rerelease), but not anymore.

heres something you all probably already know....but ill tell ya anyways...
yesterday when i had to call about not receiving any inserts there was an option to tell disney what movies you would like released on dvd or blu ray and that they really want your opinions and that they will listen....my assumption is that maybe they use those calls to poll what should come out within the next couple years or so and use those results when deciding.
if you want i can post the number later on...its in my purse in the car right now lol but ask and you shall receive

VOTE THE BLACK CAULDRON!!
That film so desperately needs a rerelease! And Disney
knows there's a fanbase willing to buy it! Why they won't give it a decent release is beyond me.
Please Disney! Please!! At least give it a new transfer! You don't even need to restore it! That's already done - there's a nice shiny transfer on the French DVDs! Just release it with that in the US and UK!
And if you refuse ... I'll just import it from France ... HA!

Yes, I think it would be great to give our compliments to all the creative minds behind Disney's greatest. I'd personally like to see Disney take a step back to their 90's Renaissance days when they were the pioneers of animated movies- and I think that's what's going to happen soon with John Lasseter helping to make the next movie.. something about New Orleans I think..

I'd like
Sword in the Stone released in a better edition. I know you can still get it on the Gold Collection DVD, but not sure I want to get that one as I'm hoping it will come out in an upgraded edition.
While I'm at it--I want Snow White and Beauty and the Beast released!

I missed out on their initial platinum releases.

Is this a new version for The Incredibles? I got the 2-disc collector's edition back when it first came out in 2005.

Yeah, I'd really love to see a Hercules Special Edition too. In fact, that's why I'm holding off on buying the current one.
