Well, this stemmed from the Disney Princess song thread. I was just wondering which villian's songs you liked.

I, personally, love 'Be Prepared'. There aren't a lot of songs I like, but there are a lot of scenes I like, but not necessarily the songs themselves. But...

Opinions? :)

I love "Be Prepared" too! It probably won't get much praise here since there are many Lion King haters here at UD, lol, but it is a great villain song, and just a great song period. "Poor Unfortunate Souls" is also an excellent villain song.

Great, I opened up a can of worms...Next thing you know, someone will create the "Favorite sidekick song" thread, then the "Favorite pop version of a Disney song" thread and finally the "Favorite Disneymania remix" thread! XD

Just kidding!

Getting back on topic, I would say my two favorites would be "Unfortunate songs" and "Hellfire" from Hunchback. Souls was a very catchy, yet very dramatic song that captured Ursula's true nature perfectly.

Hellfire was a VERY powerful song, and extremely operatic! I love how they portrayed Frollo's sexual desires clashing against his desires of "justice".

It's got to be either Poor Unfortunate Souls, Gaston or Be Prepared.

I like Ariel's song at the end of Poor Unfortunate Souls, so that might have the edge.

Poor Unfortunate Souls. Hands down. Not only is it my favourite villan song, but it's my favourite Disney song period (Just never play that god-awful Jonas Brothers cover in pressence...). I love it so much that I dressed in drag and preformed the scenes it is sung in as a Drama exam in high school.

Poor Unfortunate Souls would be the top of my list! I agree with you darth_deetoo, I love Ariel's solo at the end of 'Souls'; very haunting. The song is deliciously wicked and over - the - top, much like Ursula herself!

i really like their songs. i really like Poor Unfortunate Souls, even the Jonas Bros. version, since she shows all the 'good' that she did but showing the consequences at the same time. Hellfire is a good one to since Frollo can't decide if he loves her or thinks shes a demon from hell. Gaston is a funny song for any villain. i don't really care for the song Jafar gets but i like his deleted songs better. Scar's song i don't care for even though i like the rest of the songs. i like Ratclife's song Mine, Mine, Mine since we see how greedy he is and also his other song Savages since we don't see songs like this much. i think Ratclife is the only villain to get two songs instead of one.

I really like Cruella De'Vil.

I wouldn't really consider Cheshire Cat a full fledged villain, but he kind of is and I love when he sing's the beggining of the Jabberwocky Poem from the sequal to Alice in Wonderland Through the Looking Glass, and what Alice found there.

Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

There are so many great villain songs, it's hard for me to choose my favorites.

I think that "Hellfire" is probably the best, as it is so dramatic and so serious (in a good way) for a Disney film.

"Poor Unfortunate Souls" is very close to it. I really love this song, the lyrics are genius and animation in the movie along with it is gorgeous.

"Be Prepared" and "Cruella DeVil" would round out my top four.

How is this a Villain song? Georgette is in no way a villain, and to merely suggest she is may be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!

She kind of is. I mean, maybe not a villian, but then, that leads us into the whole "is Aunt Sarah a villian, or just a *****" discussion, which doesn't belong here. And Flotsam and Jetsam. People call them villians, but they aren't. They're just....awesome. I think it's OK to call it a villian song...its not like the real villian sings anyway, if I remember.

I listed the song because Georgette is a villainous character. She may not be the villain, but that doesn't detract from her actions being its own set of villainy. And the fact that you're making a huge deal about it is probably the most idiotic thing I've ever read!

Please.
