What trailers played before the last movie you saw?
This topic is for trailers that played during the last movie you saw in theatres.
These all played during Spider Man 3
Shrek the Third (Will probably just rent it)
Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (The first one was bad enough)
The Bourne Ultimatum (Will not see this at all)
Surfs Up (Have no interest in this whatsoever)
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Dont care if I see this or not)
Pirates of the Caribbean At Worlds End (the next movie I will see in theatres)

Trailers I saw attached to Spider-Man 3
* Across the Universe (I love musicals, but this doesn't seem like my cup of tea. I'm more into flashy musicals than grungy ones. I'll check it out if it gets lots of praise, though.)
* Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (I actually liked the first one in a goofy way, and this looks to be more exciting.)
* Surf's Up (This seems cute, but I don't think I'll see this in theaters unless a friend wants to.)
* Balls of Fury (I'm avoiding this at all costs. It looks idiotic and cringe-worthy. Why, Christopher Walken, why?)
I was really disappointed that my theater didn't show the Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean trailers, especially since it seems most theaters did. Ah, well. I may end up seeing Spider-Man 3 again at another theater, and if so, I'm pretty much guaranteed to see at least one of them on the big screen (preferrably Harry).

Spider-Man 3:
Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix - Of course! I want to know who dies! (I'm hoping I get to see the trailer again in front of Shrek & Pirates.)
Surf's Up - Best friend wants to see it and we don't get to go to the movies together often.
Shrek 3 - I just hope my friends don't hate me if I'm in total disgust with the movie the whole time. It's so sad that some people love Disney classics, get excited for these types of movies, and don't care for Pixar and Studio Ghibli films.
Fantastic Four - I seriously don't get how this guy in my math class called the Harry Potter trailer "gay" and was all hyped about this one.
I was very surprised that my friend who watched it midnight, had Pirates 3 play in front of her showing. But I didn't want to see it anyways, I want to be surprised.

Since we don't allow any commercial advertisements in front of our movies, the only thing we get is a Warner Bros. cartoon and three trailers.
In front of Spiderman 3:
Shrek the Third: Looks to be another laugh-fest from Mike Myers. Why can't the Japanese make animation as good as this.
Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End: I am so looking forward to this.
Live Free and Die Hard: Now that is has been given a PG-13 rating I was glad to see the new trailer in front of Spidey.
In front of The Invisible:
Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer: Haven't decided if I am going to watch this one in the theater or rent it and decide whether to add it to the collection.
Hostel 2: No thanks, I'll pass on this crap.
1408: Now this one looks like it might be good.

I've seen Spider-Man 3, Pirates 3, Shrek 3, and Knocked Up and there was no Harry Potter trailer in front of any of them. What do I have to do to see it on the big screen? I'm seeing Pirates again at a different theater soon, so maybe I'll have better luck there.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End:
* Underdog: No thanks. This doesn't look so good to me. Sorry, Disney.
* Surf's Up: Cute, but I'll only see it if a friend wants to
* Ocean's 13: I really liked 11 (haven't seen 12), and this looks clever, fun, and it's got Al Pacino. I'll be seeing this.
* His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass - I'm really looking forward to this. The trailer gives me goosebumps, and seems to have the story richness of Harry Potter with the epic battles and vistas of Narnia. Bring it on.
* Ratatouille: This seems to be a very character-driven film rather than plotty one, which is fine by me. Pixar hasn't let me down, yet, and I like the more low-key approach seen here rather than zany, over-the-top antics like in other animated films. I'll be there opening day.
I saw Pirates twice and got the same trailers both times since they were at the same theater. I was really hoping to see the Enchanted and Harry Potter trailers on the big screen. Maybe I'll get lucky and see the latter trailer with Ocean's 13 (both are WB films).

I will almost gaurantee it will be with Ocean's Thirteen. If not, I don't know what. I saw it the second time I saw Spidey.AwallaceUNC wrote:I've seen Spider-Man 3, Pirates 3, Shrek 3, and Knocked Up and there was no Harry Potter trailer in front of any of them. Balls of Fury - 6/10 [looks pretty bad; I'll probably see it. ]
Ocean's Thirteen (December's teaser? Doubleyou Tee Eff?) - 7/10
Joshua - 5/10 [someone wants to The Omen in the worst way, and let's get real: Both Omen's sucked hard.]
Cheers,
JM
