What do you expect? They're ogre babies! They're not supposed to look cute.

Anyways, I am worried that the babies will ruin the movie entirely.

If you see the shrek preview before Spiderman 3, it shows the baby

Those are some ugly babies. They should have been more cute. Also, I agree with PixarFan2006 in that I'm also afraid the babies will ruin the movie.

One has to wonder when this Shrek franchise will finally end. I know they are already planning Shrek 4, a Christmas special for December and a Puss in Boots spin-off movie, and don't get me wrong I love the Shrek films. But when is it going to stop? What's next? Will we see the babies go through puberty? See Shrek become a grandparent? See Shrek go to the dentist in Shrek 14? Enough already!

I liked the Donkey-dragons better, but the Ogre babies are still cute, and so green. But I still hope this whole Shrek franchise will end after III.
3 is a good number, a trilogy, but more is over the top.

I know what you mean. Look what it did to Rocky, and all of those slasher franchises.

Sorry, but Shrek 4 is already a fact...

The latter question made me laugh out loud. I agree; I hope they don't produce so many Shrek movies that it becomes like The Land Before Time.

"I think there are 57293573699466.777 Land Before Time movies."
"Released this week alone!"

In sort of related news, for those interested, here's a rundown on how Shrek the Halls in shaping up. Look for it air on ABC this holiday season. If popular, the special will re-air on a 15 year cycle. YAY - Shrek 'til 2022!

UGLY??

I thought they were rather cute (in an ugly ogre kind of way).

But my question is, WHY did they decide to spoil the film way before it opens?

All the trailers have been hinting at a baby from the very beginning...

I don't see what would make them automatically decide 15 seasons of Shrek. That's a bit odd.

Perhaps they'll just keep airing it until people stop watching. Or maybe it'll become like the Rudolph and Frosty films and become a Christmas tradition.

I know the baby hint was first seen in the trailers. But what I mean the actual surprise of seeing the babies for the first time is ruined.

You know, seeing the thrill of the scene for the first time.
