Pirates of the Caribbean: The Lost Disc at Wal-Mart...

I noticed that my local Wal-Mart had a ton of both Pirates of the Caribbean 1 or 2, packaged with The Lost Disc (that originally came out with the first movie, and went OOP.)

Not only this, but it now comes in a standard DVD case and for you Slipcover fanatics, it does have a nice and shiney slipcover as well. I own the previous release and I'm glad I got the slimmer case so it doesn't take up so much room on my shelf.

I didn't notice that it was in a standard DVD case, or had a slipcover...

Yeah. It also has a sticker claiming that it is a "Wal Mart Exclusive," but I looked at the back and there didn't appear to be any added bonus features to the third disc. It seems wrong to me for them to claim it as an exclusive when all they really have is exclusive packaging.

What's on this Lost Disc, anyway? Is it worth buying the movie again to get?

I bought it again for the Lost Disc because I'm a huge fan, but unless you are super into bonus features, there is no real need to upgrade. It contains:
"Becoming Captain Jack" - 7:45
"Becoming Barbosa" - 5:29
"Thar She Blows" - 6:15
"The Monkey's Name Is Jack" - 4:33
More "Fly On The Set" Featurettes - 15:31
"Pirates Around The World" - 4:09
"Spirit of the Ride" - 7:09
"Dead Men Tell No Tales" The History of the Attraction - 13:41 (PC feature on 2-disc set)
"Sneak Attack Animatic" - 4:14
I upgraded and gave the film as a gift. It's impossible to return the 2-disc set because it has impossible to remove stickers claiming "Not for Resale."

Those sound like fun features, but I dont know if that's enough to upgrade again for. Maybe I'll just borrow it or something, to see the Jack & Barbossa features, but even though I'm a big fan I dont see a super amount of replay viewing of that stuff.

The five featurettes run a combined 21 minutes and 32 seconds, and altogether, it's 38 minutes and 13 seconds of POTC:DMC goodness.
It's a great disc that is probably still available at BestBuys. It came packaged in a smallish cardboard envelope with its own barcode, and I found out it could be purchased on its own for $9.99 while supplies lasted. Plus, it fits snugly in the dual-amaray case.

Ditto.

I saw these at Sam's Club as well. Dead Man's Chest is the 1 disc release. I didn't see any of the 2 disc with the bonus disc.

I bought the movie with the bonus disc at Sams today. For 12.88 it was a good deal.

My Best Buy doesn't have it. I wish I had known it was 10.00 alone. I would have bought one. There's always ebay I guess...

I saw this at my Wal-Mart today, but only with 2. I didn't buy it though, since I already had it.
