Hogwarts, as in, Harry Potter's school.

Mm-kay. You may move this to Polls & Games if you wish. If you are familiar with the Potter universe, this game is as easy as tying laces. (Unless, of course, you can't tie laces. Then it's as easy as buttoning buttons.)

Memnv you are obviously patient, you deal with a lot on here, I think. You're loyal too, I think. And you shouldn't be afraid, so I think you'd do well as a Hufflepuff.

Why are you putting people in differnt houses than they are already in

Mike - You can be sorted more than once in this game. You were supposed to sort only the last person who posted above you, but I digress. Talking about the houses in general is permitted. I may simply be thinking of his avatar, but The Sequel of Disney seems to strike a Gryffindor chord. So do you, Memnv. Mason_Ireton is both a Ravenclaw and a Hufflepuff, but a bit more Claw.

So far, the UD members have sorted me as twice a snake and once a lion. That surprised me, because I honestly expected one Ravenclaw sort. I started this game at another board, and everyone practically shouted "Ravenclaw" at me. Then they started saying SlytherClawPuffDor. (Edit - I wrote this before Mason posted.)

The thing is, I know that I really am a mixture of all the houses. Below are some qualities listed that I share with each of the houses. Please don't tell me the latter sentence made no sense whatsoever.

Gryffindor - I always get Minerva McGonagall on the personality quizzes? Is that a good enough reason to be a lion? Well, in all seriousness, I have been told that I possess the determination and impulsiveness of a Gryffindor. However, the above traits can exist in people from all the houses. Besides, I'm not your typical impulsive personality. I won't sit in a chair that says "Wet Paint" just to see if the paint is wet. I have never fit the typical definition of impulsive, not even as a baby. My parents fed me my first birthday cake in dainty bites! My type of "diving in" lies wanting to control the action and prove my capabilities. That Gryffindor trait is actually a bit Hermione like. (In case you didn't know, I am no fan of Hermione.)

Ravenclaw - A good deal of my real life acquaintances consider me to be a Ravenclaw. Why? Because I passed kindergarten at age four and have always been ahead a grade level. Because I have steadily maintained a 4.0 average. Because I say "preposterous" instead of "yeah, right." Because I am attracted to intelligence. Because I know lots of information and have been instructing, to a degree, since the age of six. Because have a suspicious (versus a naiveté) personality. "And because you give off airs. I mean to say, you give the airs of an intelligent person. I can look at you and tell that you're not a stupid girl," said a friend.

Hufflepuff - I am a selective Hufflepuff. I can count on one hand the number of people that I act like a Hufflepuff towards, but I do so to excess. My closest friends, as well as those I must respect, have my deepest loyalty and devout services. Interestingly, in Hogwarts, said people would hail from every house except Slytherin.

Slytherin - This is the house I am most consistently sorted into, but it's so odd. I don't approve of the stereotypical Slytherin behavior. In fact, I find it cruel. If I were a Hogwarts student, I would be a most unique Slytherin who sided with Dumbledore's Army and would stubbornly refuses to become associated with the Death Eaters. However, there is no denying that I am a Slytherin. I'll let another friend sum it up. "You're anal, you're elegant, you're ambitious, you're smart, you're popular for some strange reason, you're blessed in the looks department - friggin' tall size 0, I'm jealous - and you basically just act like a snake. Seriously. If you were an animal, you'd be a snake." - Margaret U.

Heh. I've been sorted into Slytherin in all the Potter related communities I have joined, so I'll take her word for it.

The final verdict?



Please try to ignore the fact that the words "is" and "a" are not between my name and my house. (Yes, I love sharing a name with my favorite sequel character. I've said before in another game that if I were a Disney character, realistically, I would be her!)

Thanks for explaining the game in detail Prue, really appericate it. I just sorted you guys by personality to be honest. Prue you were already planned to be a Ravenclaw, thanks for placing me in Ravenclaw, I sometimes get Grfyndor/Hufflepuff sometimes but I was hoping to be placed in Ravenclaw and I'm delighted to be in the same house as you.

Oh my word - no offense, but you're not, not, not a Gryffindor. Because you're not. You're...maybe more of a Hufflepuff than a Ravenclaw. Maybe it's even.

Usualy I get placed in Grfyndor or another house, so I'm happy to be in Hufflepuff.

I'd say you'd probably be Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. I'm thinking....Gryffindor.
