Well, I'm not sure if it's the new server, or if it's having my computer finally updated to Comcast, but it certainly is MUCH faster to get to all the pages!

Knowing nothing has changed for me, this has to be the result of the new server. And wow, its FAST!

Nice work on the new browser, Luke. Everything is much faster now, and I got all my lost posts back!

I was loosing hope in this site last week when it was really dragging.... I couldn't stand the lag time and figured it was just my internet service acting up again. I'm glad the server was updated, the speed is incredible!!! Job well done!!

So this is why the UD forums sometimes couldn't be logged into and were locked? If so...this was worth all that! This is vey nice! And I was just thinking things seemed slow before this. Because I can't spend too much time on the computer these days, being pretty busy, this really helps me do what I want to in less time. THANK YOU SO MUCH LUKE!

Wow, it is much faster! I, too, thought that my computer was just going really slow, but it seemed to only be on this website. When I went to others, they seemed to load just fine, and there weren't any problems. Thanks, Luke, because this is great!

Glad most of you seem to like the changes! (Sorry to break with tradition, ichabod. ) I'm with the majority - it's nice to not have UD remind me of the days of dial-up connections.

Sorry the forum had to be locked for nearly two full days. At least nothing was lost - well, except the post that explained the lockdown.
