This is something I'm doing in my spare time, a DVD Guide for the Disney Animated Classics, broken down pretty much how it is in the DVD, except in a quick linear format that simply provides titles, runtimes, and number of stills. It's not as in-depth as the UD reviews, but can be handy if you just need to check how long the animation test for Kronk is on The Emperor's New Groove: Collector's Edition, or what types of stills are offered in the Alice in Wonderland: Masterpiece Edition.

All of them will be what's in Region 1, though occassionally I'll included some general specs for the Region 2 or Region 4 counterparts when they differ (such as the single-disc Pinocchio: Special Edition and some material on international releases that R1 did not get, or is now out of print).

Also, the following don't have runtimes either unless I felt it was necessary: Sneak Peeks, Set-Top Games, DVD transitions, menu introductions, menu animations and music loops, certain DVD introductions.

Multi-Angle features will have two different runtimes. Each Angle obviously runs the same amount of time, but can be considered different featurettes (a storyboard featurette, a rough-animation featurette, a split-screen comparison, etc.). So there is a runtime of the Multi-Angle feature by itself, as well as a composite runtime of all the separate angles. If that makes any sense at all. In the total runtime of bonus features, I've used the composite runtime.

Finally, even though some DVDs offer DVD-ROM features and my laptop is able to get into them, most people prefer to watch DVDs on a television. So, DVD-ROM features mean nothing to them (and honestly, I don't dip into them much either). So a DVD may simply have a note that says DVD-ROM features are included, but won't say what they are.

Each DVD is arranged as the following, and separated according to disc where necessary:

Play Movie
--Movie Title (Title Runtime 0:00:00)

Chapter/Scene Selection (based on what it is titled in the disc)
--# of Chapters
--Any notes about the chapters/scenes (such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs offering "Some Day My Prince Will Come" by Barbra Streisand as a Chapter 28 when watching the film, or how it's a different listing concerning alternate versions of the film like Beauty and the Beast or Pocahontas)

Bonus Features (pre-EasyFind listings will have each department or just a list, post-EasyFind will break it down into Backstage Disney, Deleted Scenes, Music & More, Games & Activites, and in that order, not the way they appear on the DVD)

I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time, actually. I'm kind of OCD when it comes to lists. I like to make them when I'm bored, and if I have to organize something, I almost always create a list. This thread will definitely come in handy for me when I feel like comparing Disney's bonus materials. If there are any you don't feel like doing (Lion King? ), I'd be happy to do them and to stick to the format you've created. I'm not working right now and only go to school at night, so I've got plenty of time on my hands. Either way, thanks a ton for doing this!

I had a feeling you would be the first to respond to this. You're definitely more than welcome to The Lion King, as I really don't think I'd want to sit through bits of it just to get the runtimes. Also, I'm sure you'd love to tackle Alice in Wonderland!!!

I actually have most of Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and Sleeping Beauty specs finished, so I'll be tackling those myself. I just need to have it formatted for posting, which is why none of them appear on the "Coming Soon" list, since those three do have most of their formatting done. Most of the platinums I've only got the serious bonus material runtimes done (since I needed it for an earlier post), but I'm not too keen on revisiting both Cinderella and The Little Mermaid on DVD again for the sake of their...fluffier bonus features, so NeoSuperBlissey, you can definitely take on one (and I'll take the other) since Kelvin's got The Lion King covered.
