101 Dalmations (1996?), 3-2-1 Contact, 3rd Rock From The Sun

A Little Princess, AAH! Real Monsters Adventures in Wonderland (anyone remember the PIZZA CONTEST episode? That is NOT on my VHS that I watched over a few months ago...), Adventures of Yellow Dog, All That (LOVED that show!!! I still sing the TLC mock song at the end of the very first episode all the time "Leap Froggy Frog" - also a reference to Snoop Doggy Dogg), Allegra's Window, Amber Brown, American Girl, Angry Beavers, Animaniacs (some of the greatest laughs of my young life were had by that show), Animorphs, Are You Afraid of the Dark? (oooh... spooky - the Clown Episode was actually TERRIFYING!)

The Baby-sitters Club (Books right? And a movie? And...a TV show maybe? Never watched any of it- thank God), Bailey School Kids, Barbies (I was 7 y/o + from 1990 onward, so whatever new Barbie dolls came out - I have no idea what they were), Beanie Babies, Biker Mice from Mars, Black Beauty (never saw it - no one I knew ever watched it either), Bop It! (I think), Boxcar Kids, Boy Meets World (never watched it regularly - why would I? I like good TV - but I saw a few episodes and my best friend loved it)

Candyland, Care Bears (only in re-runs), The castles that made tea sets (?), Choose Your Own Adventure (I was psychotic about those books when I was younger, they ROCKED), Clarissa Explains It All, Clueless (one of the greatest films of the decade!!!), Cooties (what- from the playground? I was a bit old for that sort of thing...), Creepy Crawlers (I might be more familiar with these than I remember...)

Dinosaurs, Disney Watchers (never heard of this before...), Don't Break the Ice (I think), Don't Wake Daddy, Double Dare, Dumbo's Circus (only in re-runs!), Duncans!! (what is that? A restaurant, like Chuckee Cheese?), Dunkaroos (I always hated them!)

Easy Bake Oven (yes but I never had one), Eerie Indiana (yes but I never watched any), Ernest movies (ERNEST RULES!!!, Eureka's Castle

Family Ties (yes but I never watched it - Bad TV Rule), Felix The Cat (I still don't know what this is...), Fern Gully (familiar with it, but I never saw it), Flipper (1996? Never saw it), Flower Making Kits, Fraggle Rock (maybe in re-runs...), Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (can you believe I used to think that show was good?), Full House (Now yes, but in the 1990's, I never watched it)

G.I. Joe (in re-runs, sometimes, but I never payed attention to it), G.U.T.S. (know of it but never watched it), Ghostwriter (alright, let the teasing begin... I saw about 4 full episodes in the '90s), Goodburger (never saw the movie, but I LOVED the All That skit), The Goonies (yes and no), Goosebumps (one of my first introductions to HORROR, I will always cherish those awful books), Growing Pains (watched a few episodes, that's how I know how bad it was!), Gullah Gullah Island (huh?), Gummi Bears (maybe in re-runs)

Hanson (never listened to them...but I remember them), Hey Arnold! (never really cared for it much), Hocus Pocus (loved it / now...it's not so great), Home Improvement (loved it / now... it's not so great), Homeward Bound (know of it, never saw it), Hot Wheels (know of them, never owned one), Hungry Hungry Hippos (only because my parents kept their old copy of this game from the '80s), Hypercolor T-Shirts (I... think, maybe)

Of course, where is RUGRATS?!?!?!?!?!? It is like the best show ever. There was this one episode, that I can only remember seeing it once, and I started watching, again, when I was like 10-12, just to see that episode again, and I never saw it. It was when each baby/toddler (for Chuckie!) became a superhero. I think Lillian was some blue person, and one of them was a skunk. Can anyone please help me with this?!

OMG! The Mega Diaper Babies!!!!! One of my favorites!!!!



It involved the Mega Hyper Heroes (Fantastic Four-ish superheroes) and the episode featured Angelica "kidnapping" the action figures for the Mega Hyper Heroes. She was the evil "Angelitron", a large robotic Angelica, and it was up to the babies to rescue the heroes. So they took their teething rings (since the MHH had some super rings or something) and became the Mega Diaper Babies!

Wow! I remember virtually everything!
But only Aaron, TLM, and I remember Bailey School Kids ? That was a great book series! I loved how each book had different mythical beings/monsters. I was so hooked that I read them into junior high .

And only four people remember Wayside School ? That book series would've made a great TV series or kids' movie. It was hilarious!

And I'm surprised the list didn't include The Magic School Bus...those books are responsible for half of my scientific knowledge .

Dude...this has got to be the best thread ever. There's a ton of stuff on this list I haven't thought about in YEARS (specifically Allegra's Window, Eureka's Castle, Richard Scarry, and You Can't Do That On Television). I just pray I can find at least clips from this stuff on YouTube. Thanks for the nostalgia!

Oh, and even though I didn't remember Play-Doh sets from McDonald's, I do remember when General Mills cereals like Lucky Charms contained little Play-Doh canisters. I made such a mess with Play-Doh as a four-year old that my mom kept taking them away from me. Everytime we bought a new box of cereal, I'd smuggle the canister out of the box and hide it in my room. Ah, to be a kid again (and to remember the days when cereal offered something COOL inside for free).
