while shoping around the web for o.o.p. ( p.e.'s ) i noticed alot of sellers listing dvds as single disc versions of the release. i was not aware that disney distributed single disc p.e's. any help to shed light on the subject would be a great help.

They're bootleg. NEVER purchase one.

actually, many of the PP were released in some other regions as 1-Disc edition, so you should check first the region before buying or claiming it´s a bootleg

you should check for Region 1 status on it. although i think PP should've been a single since it didn't have good features in my opinion since they didn't scrap the bottom of the barrel like Snow White.

If they advertise a single disc edition, they're most likely fake. Another flag to look for is if they list the disc as being region free. Disney never had any authentic region free issues of their movies.

even though i have every animated disney dvd, i still look on ebay every week to see what movies are going for, every time i see someone list one of these bootlegs, i report them to ebay. and usually when i check back on the same item number latter in the day or the next, i will see its been removed. the only way to end this problem is to report the A@@Holes when you see them.
if you report them ebay will investigate it and 99 percent of the time they will delete the item and if they get a complaint on the same seller over and over again they will deleate there account, such as they did
to a seller named heatherworkinggirl i orderd what i thought was a legit copy of 1776 from her and when i got it was by far one of the worst bootlegs ive ever seen. i reported her got my money back. and enough other people had the same problem that she is now no longer a seller. although she probably is back on there now under a different name.
also beware of dvds from Cina(China minus the H) or shri lanka, or a few other asian areas listed, 98 percent of them are bootlegs.
