I've looked throughout the net for reviews of these DVDs, but haven't found any.

I was wondering if someone here could provide a little review of the special features. I'm debating wether or not to pick these titles up.

Thanks. :)

DVD File has pretty good reviews for both.
I am thinking of picking up both of these titles too - the only thing stopping me is money i.e. don't have enough for these at the moment (as there are so many other groovy things to buy!)

Hope this helps:

Enjoy!

Both are absolutely fantastic. I'd give a higher recommendation to The Parent Trap, as the extra features are just so darn entertaining on that one. (Which isn't to say that Pollyanna's aren't great, too...they are.)

Both movies are a lot of fun, though I prefer The Parent Trap. Anyhow, the featurette with Ward Kimball and David Swift (who both unfortunately passed away not too long after the segment was taped) is really great. As is the stuff with Hayley and the stand-in/double twin.

Obviously, the DVD File review will go into more detail, but I just wanted to pass along my hearty personal recommendation. I can't recommend these Vault Disney sets highly enough. They're fabulous!

They are $14.44 at most Wal Marts.

DVDMg also has reviews of these two DVD's and are more in depth than DVDFile's:

Thanks everyone. I tried searching DVD File before, and their reviews of these titles never showed up as a search result - weird.

I think I'll go ahead and pick TPT up, but I'm not sure about Pollyana - it was good, but I'm not sure I want it in my collection yet. I think I'll give it a rent first.

I too, love the Vault Disney line, Luke. I already own 20,000 Leagues, Old Yeller, and Swiss Family Robinson. All fantastic films on WONDERFUL DVDs. I wish Disney put this much effort into Treasure Island.
