I hope that it's released too. I've only seen it once, and I loved it. I would imagine that it would be on DVD by now, though.

I know it's not a Disney movie and I know it's made by Steven Spielberg/Universal Pictures, but is there any chance that We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story will be on DVD?

It's out on DVD here in the UK so I see no reason why it shouldn't be released in the US:
It's only £3.97 which is just over $7 (7.71563 USD if you want to be exact)
Postage is just over $5 for Airmail (5.98505 USD)

Good, because studios only listen to danfrandes' e-mails. Now, send an e-mail to SoapNet and tell them to broadcast
Santa Barbara and switch to basic cable on all markets.

While youre at it, send one to Disney and tell them to release The Little Mermaid and Aladdin series

and 101 Dalmatians The Series, I loved that show

but seriously you should get the region 2 version of We're Back! A Dinosaurs Story, theres no reason not to really, you can usually change your DVD player to multi-region
I wish Adventures in Dinosaur City was on DVD, I loved that as well

What do you mean "SoapNet"? Who's Santa Barbara? What do you mean switch to basic cable on all markets?

danfrandes - why did you ask this question again? You asked over at Animated News, and we answered your question. It will, its just a matter of time.
And hey, you were right about the UK having their own DVD edition. Props, danfrandes!

To answer your question, I have a few of my own. Do you have back problems? Have you ever danced with the devil by the pale moonlight, or seen the rain? Is your wife a money-grubber? Who let the dogs out?
If you can answer these, I will buy you an eyepatch and some rum.
Cheers,
JM

SoapNet is a cable channel, mostly only available in the premium and digital cable packages. In my area, it's on digital cable, which I don't have, so I'd rather it be on basic cable in order to watch the network. They have same-day repeats of five of the nine soaps, and weekend marathons as well. Also, they rerun a few canceled daytime and primetime soap operas as well.
As for
Santa Barbara, it's understandable that you have no idea what it was. It was canceled about a year after you were born (a year and 6 days to be exact), and has only been rerun in other countries.

If you have a region free DVD player I would go ahead and import it. I didn't know this wasn't available in Region 1.

I've got the Laserdisc, and didn't have any idea it had been released on DVD anywhere...
BTW, it looks like that release is 1.33:1, while my laserdisc is widescreen (1.85:1.)

OMG DVD Hell has just frozen over....in a good way..I Will Buy this movie...(even though I do have a bootleg that is widescreen that plays perfectly fine because I bought the bootleg because I never thought this movie would see the light of a release beyond vhs ever again)
Again this is creepy.....another danfrandes email and suddenly We're Back: Dinosaur Story is coming out on DVD....

and this time it's not even Disney
Perhaps Danfrandes was a very influential person with Disney via Lilo and Stitch and Universal......that or he is psychic and can see into the media release future

About time, it got a DVD. This movie is special to me. I grew up with a VHS copy of it in my house and I'm a dinosaur fan. The parade scene is groovy with the catchy "Roll Back the Clock (to the Dawn of Time)" song and the eccentric circus is deliciously edgy!
