Hi! If you want to be a part of the Movie & Media awards this year, here is your chance! Unlike the UD Member/Forum Awards, this will be a live ceremony conducted in one night. The Media and movie awards categories will be intermixed this year as the evening proceeds.

You may sign up to present any of the categories below by posting in this thread the name of the category you would most like to present. First come, first serve. You may claim up to four categories at one time TOTAL (I'll let you know if I'll accept beyond two at a later time). By signing up, you agree to send in a short presentation speech to awallaceunc@gmail.com with the name of your category as the subject line no later than 11:59pm (eastern time) on Friday, February 23. Presentation speeches should conclude with "and the winner is..." or something to that effect. I will post your speech and insert the winner when the time comes. If you have any questions, just look to last year's ceremony or just send me an email. I will edit this post to reflect sign-ups. This should be fun, and feel free to be creative if you wish.

I would like to present the award for Best Orginal Song in a movie.

I would like to do Best Visual Effects in a movie.

I'll see if I can't write the intro for Best DVD Release of a Film please.

Edit: Oh I also whould like to do Best Holiday Release too you don't mind.

I would like to present Best Animated Feature and Best Disney Channel Original Series if possible....

As well as Best Fat Guy, could I do Best TV Sitcom/Comedy?

With all those categories, I think people have got to double, triple, quadruple up. I'll take Best Sequel, Best TV Series, Best Host or Lead in a Reality or Unscripted Series - Male, and Best Actor in a Made-for-TV Movie, if possible.

So, let me get this straight, we create a speech, insert the winner is, email it, and then you post it? I'm new to this, so I'm kinda confused. If I got this straight I would like to sign up for Best Villian and Best New TV Show.

Right you are. The 2 max thing was left in from last year when there were far fewer categories. Everyone may claim up to four categories each now, until all spots are filled. If there are still a lot of open spots in a day or two, I'll bump that number up.

Well, in light of the new rules, I would like to take "Best Actress" and "Best Comedy."

I'd like to also do "Best Walt Disney Records Release" and "Best Film" please!

Aaron, correct me if I'm wrong, but didnt you decuide not to do the rap categories this year since there was only 1 nomination and it wasnt a rap album to start?

But I'll take Best Album, song and artist.

The "Best Rap Album" category has been scrapped due to a lack of submissions for it (I accidentally left it in the list above, but I've removed it), but the "Best Rap Song" and "Best Rap Artist" categories were voted on and are still being presented.
