Right now the Absent Minded Proffessor is on. Last night 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Is it possible that perhaps some more Disney movies might make it onto TCM?

Ha, my mom told me last night that "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" was on TCM. But alas, I was too busy watching On the Front Lines, and trying to get through Disk 1 before midnight...which didn't happen anyway.
Seeing TCM showing a number of Disney films is giving me hope. Who knows. Maybe in the next couple of months, we will see Song of the South on TCM. There at least, the film critics who introduce all the films on TCM can "warn" people about the film, and such so it CAN be shown on public TV. Hey, you know, if they can show it numerous times in the UK and in Austrailia, it's LONG overdue to show SOTS here in the US!!Well, here's to hoping!

I've seen "The Absent-Minded Professor" on TCM last night, but I would catch the rest of the film towards the end. I used to taped that movie off the Disney Channel when it was part of "Vault Disney", but I did lost it a few years ago. TCM is going to be showing some more Disney movies in spite of "Vault Disney" being gone after 5 years since the Disney Channel got rid of my favorite overnight block. I missed "Vault Disney", so I'm glad that Turner Classic Movies will step right up to the plate. Disney movies on TCM would be a great fit for the rest of the schedule. Good move!
