Kim Possible Season 4 - Reactions?

Just seeing what everyone thought about the new KP episodes. Personally, as thrilled as I was to see the show back, I was not a big fan of the first four episodes. It was more chatty, less "teen hero thing." But there's still plenty of time for that to hopefully change. Other opinions?

Yeah, I agree that it was more chatty. And I'm just being nitpicky, but I find it amazing that they just started their senior year and then skip to an episode set in February.

Why? That should be the question. Why should there be season four of a show that hardly anyone watches or even cares about. It is strictly for younger kids and the animation is horrible.

Oh yeah? Well if no one watches it, then why has there been three successful seasons of it, two successful movies, and now a fourth season of it? And if no one cares about it, then why did a massive online petition signed by many many people, convince the people at Disney to make another season? Geez, tons of people watch it and love it, why do you have to knock everything Bill?

Because a small but vocal fanbase gets further than a greater silent majority not tuning in. That's how Star Trek (original series) was saved for one more season as well.

I thought Kim and Ron went to the Prom in her last outing. I took it they graduated. I don’t get Disney anymore so it will be a while before I’ll get to see these. But what I remember happened last was they went to the Prom together so are they dating now?
I haven't seen a KIm Possible in a year or two but I wouldn't call the animation horrible. By television standards it is fairly well animated. Ever since I went to college for animation I have a hard time watching TV animation because it always looks so horrible but KIm was one show I could watch.
By the way, I think that the Proud Family may look like Kim Possible but it lacks the charm and wit that the better Kim’s have.

I really didn't enjoy these first four episodes since it had too much talking and not enough fighting. Also the Tweebs (Kim Possible's twin brothers) being freshmen they act like they were in six grade or something.

About the show's popularity, it must be reaching its target audience fairly well, as Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable are two of the most popular characters at the MGM Studios. And that is not just an opinion, but is actually based on guest demand and reaction.

I didn't watch it last night, but I've also got to wonder why Kim and Ron have not yet graduated from high school. I thought the last movie took place during their senior prom.
KP certainly has its fanbase, and they are among the most vocal fans you will ever meet. This was one of my major fandoms the first year it was out and - ironic to what Kim herself says, drama abounds!
(At a now erased forum, people started going crazy making threads about, 'I hate this user' and everyone in the fandom with internet access split up into different sorts of fan groups. To say nothing of the people that had morbid obsessions over Shego...)

I actually quite liked the airing and I will be 20 in March LOL!! Anyhow I missed the first 2 shows but I was able to watch part of the 3rd episode and I saw all of the Valentine Episode..
Of course I am a fan of Kim Possible but while I want to remain positive about the show going on into a 5th season....... Well..... It probably won't.... Although I couldn't think of a FINAL episode I would think Disney would probably just pull it and not make a Series Finalle episode or a DTV TV movie ending the series.....
Long live Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, and that Freaky Thing er Naked Mole Rat Rufus.... Wade the Computer dude

I think it was their junior prom, not their senior prom. KP will do better than the other animated shows Disney's airing right now (American Dragon: Jake Long, The Replacements, The Emperor's New School), which matters. It probably won't have a 5th season, though, because Disney never goes past graduating high school... But they might have another movie or something.

I think this is a good show. Yes, it chatty and yes, not enough action. I had only one big problem. Watching Kim kiss Ron on the cheek every episode. I was all for them getting together, but there was just something about their relationship. A little weird for me.

She did that? Kim kissed Ron on the cheek every single episode? Ahaha. That sort of reminds me of Aladdin and Jasmine's behavior during their series. Does K/R act remotely like A/J in terms of their relationship?

I would've thought that everyone would've wanted chatty for the return of this show. I mean they're now a couple, which was what everyone wanted. Why shouldn't they be chatty? I haven't seen it, but I look forward to it. I hear that there's only 13 episodes of this season guys, so enjoy the show while you can, even if it is too chatty. Also, any thoughts about Ashley Tisdales character? It seems like anyone whos anyone on the Disney Channel is in KP, with Raven, Kirsten Storm and now Ashley Tisdale appearing on it. And any thoughts on the rumour of Dylan and Cole Sprouse replacing Jim and Tim's voices. Apparently that rumour was made up, because the original Jim and Tims voice (Shaun Fleming) was too old to do it (he's 20 now). It's not them- they don't need to be on every Disney Channel show- but there was that rumour. Any thoughts?

Well, not quite everyone. There were some fans (myself included) who feared that a relationship between Kim and Ron might hurt the tone of the series, shifting it away from largely action-orientated storylines to an all-out soap opera. I haven't yet seen any of the new episodes myself, so I'll hold off further comment until then. I am glad that it returned for a fourth season, regardless.

I can see Sprouse twins fangirls suddenly watching the show over said rumor. I have yet to see any of the newer episodes, so cannot comment on Ashley Tisdale's character. I heard from my sister that she was evil. Is this true?

Yeah, she's the bad guy. I'll let you all who haven't seen it form your own opinion before I give mine. But one way or another, she's the villain, I guess.

Interesting. What type of a villain is she? Is she effective ala Shego style, with a snobbish streak? That's the impression I got from the commercials.

Same thing happened to David and Maddie*.
Had to laugh

at the prospect of Kim Possible: The Soap Opera. What's next, CSI: Tipton?
Actually, that doesn't sound too bad. A forensics team investigating murders at a hotel, all the while, being annoyed by twin boys, the heiress, and the snarky snack counter girl.
