Question about Silly Symphonies on R2

I wonder if anyone that have bought the Region 2 version of the Silly Symphonies set (Disney Treasure) can help me out on this.

I only own the R1 version of it.

Is there any difference between them?
Is it the same cartoons?
Do they have the same mistakes? Like showing Waterbabies after the intro by Walt Disney (which shows an intro to Merbabies instead)?
And so on...

Anders in Sweden have pointed out that the original uncut version of Three Little Pigs is on this one - is it so?
Is it that version instead of the censored one that are on the R1 version?
(even that we can see the censored clip in Leonard Maltins introduction!)

Come on, help me out!

Now I began to be a little confused here.
After my question above I felt the need to go back to my Silly Symphonies Set and look on that material with the edited Three Little Pigs but my memory proved me wrong.
I can´t find it on the discs in that set.
Have I confused myself and seen it elsewhere or is it just hidden?
I played the intro and the extra features but it was not there.
Hum, do I begin to be old and loosing my memory...or what?

I don't think that "Waterbabies" was a mistake as far as the Silly Symphonies set goes. Walt Disney clearly talks about "Waterbabies", not "Merbabies". The mistake might have been on the original TV-show where the wrong cartoon was shown.

However, there might be another mistake on the R2 Silly Symphonies set. The "Waterbabies" cartoon seems to be missing altogether. After Walt's introduction, the disc returns to the menu without playing the cartoon.

The other Easter eggs seems to be there, though, including "Who Killed Cock Robin" and others.

"Three Little Pigs" is clearly the uncensored version on R2 as far as the animation goes. I'm not sure about the audio. The dialog was supposedly re-recorded along with the changed animation, but the R1 and R2 versions sound the same to me.

I'm not quite sure what you're referring to. If you play "Three Little Pigs" from the "Leonard's Picks" menu on disc 1, you will first see the uncensored scene during Leonard's "lecture", and then (only on R1) the revised version in the film itself. Also, the revised version is in the documentary "The Song of the Silly Symphonies" on disc 2.

Thank You Anders, that was exactly was I was reffering to. :)
I haven´t watched the Silly Symphonies set in total since I bought it in 2001, so I had forget where to find the clip of the jewish peddler (the wolf). But there it was as you said, in the introduction to the short Three Little Pigs (I thought it was in one of the documentaries or the main introduction first - I picked PLAY ALL and then I diden´t see it.

Actually, I just found out that the "Waterbabies" cartoon is indeed on the R2 disc. But it doesn't play when it should, right after Walt's introduction. So far, the only way I've found to see it is to go directly to title 26 on the DVD. How to do that varies with different DVD players.

If anyone has found some other way to see the Waterbabies cartoon on the Scandinavian (R2) version of the Silly Symphonies set, please let us know.

I only wondered why they have included the uncencored/unedidted version of The Three Little Pigs on our disc but not on the R1?
